    I had a stack of printed flash cards. I wanted to move them in to Goodnotes, so I took a photo of each card (front and back) and then build the same cards in Goodnotes.

    Some images I'd like to replace with handwriting (or drawing) and some images I'd like to make written notes on top of.

    I second this request. The ability to mix images and writing/drawing would be awesome.
