    Adding masking tape functionality to pointer mode would be a valuable improvement for users who frequently conduct classes, seminars, or webinars.
    It would allow a more professional, fluid interaction with the displayed material and help maintain audience engagement.

    I would like to request the ability to open and close the masking tape feature while staying in pointer mode, to avoid unnecessary tool switching.
    Constantly changing between modes can interrupt concentration, especially during dynamic lectures and live presentations. Keeping both features accessible would optimize workflow.

    Could you please consider allowing masking tape to be activated during pointer mode?
    Having to manually switch modes slows down the natural pace of a lesson or a talk. Offering direct access to masking tape without switching would provide a much smoother and more flexible experience for all users.

    Currently, switching from pointer mode to the pen tool in order to use masking tape is inconvenient and hinders the teaching or presenting process.
    Allowing masking tape functionality within pointer mode would preserve workflow continuity and reduce cognitive load on the presenter, leading to better engagement.

    It would be much more convenient if masking tape could be used directly in pointer mode, without the need to change tools every time.
    This small change would greatly enhance efficiency, especially when delivering lessons or explanations that require continuous interaction with the displayed content.

    Please enable the masking tape feature to be opened and closed even when using pointer mode, as this would make presentations and lectures far more seamless.
    Currently, having to exit pointer mode just to manage masking tape causes an unnecessary break in focus and disrupts the continuity of the session.

    I would appreciate it if you could allow the use of the masking tape function while in pointer mode, without needing to switch to the pen tool.
