I miss the old OneNote feature where you could add a to-do box next to handwritten notes and have a notebook that automatically collected all to-dos across notebooks. Modern OneNote still lets you insert checkboxes and use tags, and you can use the “Find Tags” summary to see them across sections, but it doesn’t automatically aggregate them like before. For a similar experience, you could use Notion or Obsidian, which let you roll up tasks across notes, or try syncing with Microsoft To Do.
