Goodnotes could automatically detect the scale of a drawing, or allow the user to manually set it (e.g. 1:25, 1:50, 1:100). The tool should then allow users to: Draw dimension lines showing the real-world distance Measure distances between points Measure areas (m²) Calibrate the scale using a known distance This would make Goodnotes much more useful for architects, engineers and construction professionals. A Measuring Tool for technical drawings and plans would be very useful.

The tool should then allow users to:
Draw dimension lines showing the real-world distance
Measure distances between points
Measure areas (m²)
Calibrate the scale using a known distance
This would make Goodnotes much more useful for architects, engineers and construction professionals.
