    Yes its essential for using and it reduce user request for cross platform .
    i like onenote because i can insert image and organize my notes and using my ipad pro for drawing gadget .
    it so fast using Desktop pc for insert image or organize by mouse and other things like that .

    most of users use onenote because its cross-platform and users can access notes by other devices .
