An error occurred while saving the comment Ariel commentedYou can add your own templates, if you have a PDF or image you like:
https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000115295-Adding-custom-templates-to-the-template-libraryYou can adjust the Zoom window return height, if you like the Zoom tool:
https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/201565249-Adjusting-Zoom-window-return-height-for-a-template
What is not spelled out in that article is how much a "point" is. When importing a PDF as a template, one inch = 132 points. (This is presumably because the iPad 2 had a screen resolution of 132 pixels/inch.)I'm attaching a file of templates I think might be useful. You can see the file I used to generate them at

An error occurred while saving the comment Ariel commentedYour best option, if Goodnotes doesn't do this, is to add your own template:

An error occurred while saving the comment Ariel commentedWould using A6/A5 paper work? Since the iPad zooms in on the page, it should look like wider line spacing.

You can also create your own templates by exporting your Goodnotes document as a flattened PDF and then importing it as a template. Most of the requests are for things like different paper colors/sizes, which can't be produced with "a empty page, where users are able to draw/create their own templates with the existing tools".
