    i just encountered this issue.

    "It is mainly for performance reason, if you export the page in PDF format, it will use the original file."

    the problem with that is that i can't read the stuff that is in the image when i'm working on it. there should at least be an option to manually set the image to high res if needed.

    when importing the image as it's own model/document it is loaded in full res.
