Can you please have an option to disable the write to text?
everytime I go to type out a text box I get cock blocked by the pencil to text. I enjoy using my apple pencil to move my text boxes and the pencil to text option is something I do not really like nor wanted. An option to get to this feature on or off would be awesome!

When I export a file in GoodNotes to PDF...
I am having this issue where I import a PDF into Goodnotes, make some edits, then want to export my edited PDF, but when I do so, it names the PDF file using only lowercase letters, even though the original file is named with some uppercase and lowercase letters. Is there a way to fix this? I just want the new file to have the same name and format as the original file.

Default view under vertical scrolling
When I open a PDF file, the file is scaled so that I can see a full page as large as possible (usually setting the page to be as tall as my viewing window but somewhat narrower). This is probably the best option when scrolling is set to horizontal.
However, it is not the correct default behavior for vertical scrolling; in that case, a better default would be for the page to be scaled to occupy the full width of the window, regardless of the page's height.

When using splitscreen, generally if you want a good screenshot you have to zoom in and out to do so. However, if there was a functionality to screenshot the other page that you’re working off of and then import it into the page that you’re working on, you could get much higher quality notes.

hope to make a function that can combine any element just like the function in WORD of MS office. So that users can make their own complex object such as table with lines and text box, complex shape with many circles and rectangles. if users can combine and split all elements freely, we can make our document better and edit it more easily

FlipChart + Chisel tip
I’ll be teaching first aid classes soon and we used tons of FlipCharts & chisel tip pens when we learned how to teach them. I’d like to use what I learned in class to teach and use my iPad at the same time. I‘ve been using GoodNotes for a while now and I really think a Chiseltip feature and maybe a FlipChart-esque template would really improve the app

Display definitions of words upon triple tap
I import so many pdf texts for studying and all of the time I am in need of definitions of the words in those documents, I would kill for Goodnotes to have this feature.

optimization about open file at the same time
Q1.it will stuck when opening two or three files (about over 500MB each) in split screen mode.
Q2.it will stuck when opening two or three files (about over 300MB each) in multi-tab pages.
Q3.it will stuck when using a file over several hours(over 5 hours indoor and over 2 hours outdoor(may be because the weather is hot) about over 500MB),and the picture page of PDF will turn white and only show all image(lines,txt,draws…) made by GoodNOtes5can you do some optimization on these problems?

please fix the bug that when opening the thumbnail it will automatically locate to the first page instead of the current page

Add temporary Grid Paper on any pdf file to make note-taking more neat and practical.
While taking notes on The professor's PowerPoints or any document I need to complete, It would be extremely useful to add a temporary grid paper to ensure that I'm writing straight. This way, my notes are organized, neat and well structured.

More Accurate Autogenerated Line/Shape
Please try and make parabolic shapes, curved lines, and other shapes to more accurately represent the path of the pencil stroke. The ones now are good, but I would like a more accurate swept line - meaning closer to the path my pencil head took, not a predefined ellipsis.

Color Swatches
I use different colors for my courses and I have to separate them with putting black between them. If we have swatches, we could just choose whichever we are working with.
