Choppy scrolling on secondary monitor
I would love support for secondary monitor scrolling. As of now when I have my 4k secondary monitor in portrait or landscape mode the scrolling is very choppy that makes it near impossible to use. If I have my sidebar up it seems to run a little smoother but not well enough for practical use so as of now I always keep my sidebar up and choose the page rather than scrolling.

Elements/shapes & Screenshot Optimization
At the moment if you want to add an element in the library if the object in question was not created by hand, you need first to make a screeshot and then add the element. This can be relatively time consuming if you want to bulk create them, since making a screeshoot is a three step process (take screenshot -> Select export -> copy )
An alternative would be to either or both:
* add an element directly as an image by selecting a portion of the document
* or by adding an instant snapshot feature to copy the area…1 vote -
Insert new page
It’d be very helpful if new pages could be added at arbitrary locations. In fact, I find it unusual that this option is not already available

Automatically created notebooks by days
This feature should look in all notebooks when new pages were created, and then at the end of a day create a notebook which has all the content of that day. So you have a summary of the complete day, and do not always have to look through all the notebooks.

Custom template categories
I have a number of custom templates. Most of them are not any of the existing page sizes (not A4, letter, Goodnotes standard, etc.) Could we have a "Custom" template category, or better the ability to create our own template categories?

GoodNotes on Mohave?
I would love to use GoodNotes on my MacBook Pro, but I can't update my system past Mohave, because that is the last version that still supports some older 32 bit apps that I still use. Would there be any chance of doing the testing needed to support MacOS 10.14.x (Mohave)? I absolutely love GoodNotes on my iPad and would to use it cross-platform. Wes

An option for reversing the location of the close X feature when closing a book.
Because I'm left handed, when I'm writing in the top corner, when I rest my hand it sometimes closes the current book that I'm on. If you could put the X on the right side of the tabs that would make my life easier.

Image Gallery tool similar to Key Notes
It’s where we can choose photos and group them all in one gallery tool. We are then able to just swipe or click the right button to view the photos.
I need this tool because I use good notes for daily journaling and sometimes I have too many photos in one day and it gets too messy if I upload them all. Thank you.

Create and save and share my own penstyle. Like Procreate or PS. Surely No need to be too powerful like procreate. But More efficient shortcut to different style preset is neccesary.

I`ve used Goodnotes 4 for 7 years from 2014 and I was really satisfied with your app before I knew released new version in App Store in the middle of 2020 and finished free upgrade service when I knew it.Unforturnately, I missed free upgrade service you provided to Goodnote4 user. But I sometimes thought it is really I am unluckly because I missed free upgrade service or Goodnote team is very unkind and unfriendly compared your other competitor like Flexcil.

Store Temporary Photos
GoodNotes should store all temporary photos that are pending insertion into a document! My elderly father wanted to take a picture of a client and annotate it in GoodNotes later, using the camera feature within GoodNotes. Unfortunately, the temporary photo was not stored because he did not tap on “Use Photo” in the lower right corner. He assumed that the photo would be stored in his photo library when taken, just like it is as soon as you take a picture with the default Camera app on iOS. Now the photo is lost and there is no way to get…

Emptying Trash
I’m having trouble emptying the trash. When ever I try to empty it, the option goes away but the trash doesnt empty. I tried deleting them individually but that doesnt work either. Refreshing the app doesn’t help either. It’s making the app really glitchy for me with all the extra storage. Please help! :)

In Presenter Mode: Custom background color or transparent background when zooming out
For my lectures, I use "Mirror Presenter Page" to mirror my writing on a pdf file to an AirServer window on my Mac. The AirServer window is then overlayed in OBS with a video of myself (greenscreen). When I zoom out, Good Notes applies a black color to fill the background. I would like to suggest to be able to choose the background color (either black/white or color palette) and/or use a transparent background.

Recognize handwrite to convert it a certian font
Currently we need to use the lasso tool to do convert but its not practical at all, because we need then to copy the text and post a text box to put it inside, writing in MS word is easier this way! there is an app called Nebo and its doing it write, GoodNotes is my favorite so please make it easy to do so.

Switchable Colour Sets & Optimised colour set modes for Page type
I do sketching technical detail works on a black page canvas templates and usually I have to bring up a gradation colour set of white to grey.
However when Im going back to another Notebook that is a white page I need to use black colours.
It would be nice if we can first of all we had an option to switch between a customised colours of our own made set of 3s
For e.g. I would have White, grey and Dark grey

Flash cards feature is not there in my good notes 5 - India any reason?
Even after updating the app I am unable to see the flash card option in the essentials template it seems to be after the ruled wide template its not there. It's not there anywhere any reason why?

Keyword searching needs to improve a lot
Leave alone the searching feature in handwritten notes….
But even in text notes or typed texts, it does not shows up the matches while searching many many a times….
Even if there are lets say 8/9 matches but it only shows like 1 matches or no matches at all….
And i have time & again confirmed this fact, it has become so irritating dats why i m requestin u guys…

iCloud sync still does not work, please make it user controllable
Yesterday evening I created a folder on my desktop and added 7 files to it (exams I was about to grade). It took over 22 hours for these 7 files to finally appear on the iPad. Both the desktop and the iPad were connected to the network all the time. That's waaaaaaay too long.
