Notability has this feature, and this would be awesome to have, especially for students who are visual learners! Please add this feature and/or adding videos too

They ignored the need

Adding short videos would be fantastic, but if that's impossible, please at least let us import GIFs! Motion or video sequences are critical for many.

As an artist I would love this! Please! Also being able to add videos would be really useful

GIFs have a particular advantage when it comes to learning as they allow for a visual representation of the process of a specific knowledge point. For instance, in research fields, they can be used to observe experimental changes, while in animations, they can showcase variations in motion. Many domains such as mathematics and design require such visual aids. GoodNotes, being a note-taking software widely used among students, should consider supporting GIFs. Many fundamental knowledge points involve motion, and it would be beneficial to have this feature available. Even if GIFs are not supported, at the very least, support for other animated image formats such as webp would be appreciated.

It would be amazing to include short clips that facilitate understanding without exiting the app when revising from a notebook, especially if you have trouble with attention like me

I give after school tuition in physics. It would be incredibly useful to include animated gifs for motor, dynamo, laser diode usf… in the notes.
I expect other subjects need this as well.

Please can a gif feature be added as it really helps with presenting a live changing graph such as showing a particle’s change in direction due to it accelerating rather than having to import multiple images just to visually show how acceleration has an affect on direction

Trying to use a gif to express emotion deeper in writing and guess what…… it didn’t work. Please add GIF capabilities.

The fact that there isn't a GIF support is the main reason why i needed to leave goodnotes, I would like to use it again with gifs
