Layer
Allow users to put comments on different layers. It would be helpful if these could be turned on/ off, or have their transparency % adjusted like in the Photoshop Touch application. Selecting annotations on one layer only or locking others would be useful as well.

I know that everyone was really frustrated when goodnotes came out with an handwriting crap instead of the locking feature!

This is an urgently needed feature. Our notes and planners have become very useful with the addition of so many elements, photos, stickers, and text boxes. I realize we can turn items on and off in the lasso tool as we move things around, but it's just not enough. It seems like such a basic feature, I'm not sure why we don't have it already.

How is this not a feature yet? 😞

We need layers similar to drawing apps in Goodnotes. It doesn't have to be crazy, but 2-3 will be good for most users.

Or even just the classic "move back"/ "move to back"/ "move to front"/... feature that they have on Word! Anything so that you don't have to recopy and paste anything you want to be on the top layer :/ gets very tedious when trying to write and use pictures at the same time

VERY important! I always accidentally move pictures as I'm writing over them

Include a function that when writing with a text box you can place a new layer on top and use the pen to write in the spaces without selecting the text.

LAYERS for EVERYTHING. Stickers, drawings, text, etc. would absolutely change the face of my workflow for the better. Our entire production uses GoodNotes, but since everyone takes their own notes on their own page, we end up generating multiple duplicates of documents. Introducing layers would be the first step in streamlining what is now a bit of a redundant and complicated workflow. Then, being able to LOCK layers so people working on the same document can’t edit or alter.
Then, being able to FLATTEN some layers (or, perhaps this is just LOCK) so when I take notes over existing layers/notes, it doesn’t alter what’s beneath. For example, I take notes on a script that already has copious notes flattened on it. So I use the white pen tool to “erase” said notes, so I can write on top and it looks cleaner. But, in order to do my job correctly, where I am erasing and changing my OWN notes, I have to export the “clean” version as a PDF to flatten it, and then re-import as a new flattened PDF so I can do that.

Please!! I want to highlight a text that I previously wrote and everytime my hand touches the text it switches to the text function!! So annoying >:(

I never even thought about an option to disable the layering. It does annoy me as most times I don’t need the layering, such as highlighting lines of text and they overlap or when I want straight lines on a bigger area than the thickest highlighter.

For a permanent, micronized, homogeneous pigments with a finely dispersed structure are used. Such pigments:
are made on the basis of organic and inorganic natural natural dyes;
safe for health;
have a high index of survival;
resistant to loss of color saturation.
Microblading pigments can be cream, powder, gel and liquid in their structure.
Pigments for hair tattooing are mainly liquid and creamy structures. https://victoriasesthetics.com/permanent-makeup/lip-blush/ -

Hello, I work as a civil engineer (Bouygues Construction) and I’m using the app everyday.
I’m trying for my hierarchy to buy into it for everyone of my colleagues.
The only thing missing to make it perfect for annotation and Construction follow up is the use of layers.
It would help to have one layer per company, thus having only ONE document for everything and everyone which could revolutionise the way our company and others work. -

Use a different program because I got tired of moving elements that I didn’t won’t to move. Loved Goodnotes, but just couldn’t deal with the problems with grabbing items that I didn’t want to move.

Layers would be incredibly helpful. I annotate scripts and there are different overlays that need to be present and then sent to different people; not everyone needs all the same information at the same time. Being able to work with layers (that I can then name) would be a game changer! Especially if you continue to improve the “shared” document function.
