I would prefer it to be aligned to guides - that you can make appear by dragging your pen from the side, like any imaging tool (photoshop, illustrator, etc.)
This would have the better advantage of being useful even with your own template !

When you have too many pages, scrolling thumbnails is cumbersome & outlines are just too general - unless you create an outline for each page (oh ! God ! No !!!)

It would be great too have an option "improve writing" toggled on / off so that we could have our writing improved if we want -

The fact that you can define the 3 sizes with the slide is not enough for you?
On my side, it's not about the 3 sizes...
Its more that I need to modify the slider all the time... so in a way, you are right - I would even say : favourites should be a combination of colour AND thickness -

It is SOOOOO annoying !
Or just add an additional touch feature : if I touch the screen with my other hand while I turn, it locks the size... not ideal but possible !
