More color options in top menu bar (more than just 3)

On OneNote I have 14 different colored pens and highlighters up top. GoodNotes is superior to one note in almost every way except this one. I color code my notes, so I am forced to used one note. If I were to try and color code using goodnotes, it would take me hours longer because there are so many extra clicks to get to the correct color of pen or highlighter. Having more color options up top and allowing both pens and highlighters in the menu bar like one note would be amazing.

There is plenty of room up there, changing pen thickness is not important enough to have that much space up top, other colors are. But honestly there is plenty of room for more colors, you could just shift the thickness all the way to the right and the other menu options all the way to the left and have room for 10 more colors.

    This is a valid problem for every student who wants to make his notes quickly that looks good and interesting when going through it, please add this.

    Come on guys, you people have just provided 3 colours .....OneNote and notability already providing it....and I don’t want to switch on them.....this feature is really dealbreaker for me please provide just more than 3 color.....there is already enough space for it

    I 100% agree, I color code my notes too and I am forced to use Notability because they have the option to have a set of favorite pens, highlighters, and erasers that can be easily accessed. If GoodNotes had that functionality I would almost completely switch to good notes.

    I think even one more would be very useful. I personally find myself switching between blue, black, green and red regularly.

    I completely agree and I think that adding space for more colours would speed up my note taking. Please make this a feature!!!!

    Much needed, access to at least 4 colours instantly when writing on paper usually you keep these 4 colours handy blue, black, Red, Green.

    There must be atleast 4 colour options on the toolbar as while making notes everyone alteast uses 4 colour pens ie Red, blue, black, Green

    This feature would make the app perfect! I use elaborate color pallets for my notes and three options just isn't enough- that's the only reason I switch to OneNote for class notes. Even if it's not default, please at least make more colors on the selection bar an option. Love the app!

    I would also like the feature of additional colors in the toolbar. I also use Notability which currently has this feature, which is super helpful. GoodNotes is my preferred note taking app but I'm finding that I am starting to use Notability more often just because it's easier to access the color palette. Could you offer this option please?

    I'd also love to see the option to add more colors to the toolbar. I have to switch all the time and pulling up the presets popup is a bit of a pain.

    This would make the GoodNoted experience so much smoother (its already great but this would be a game-changer).

    I would love to see 4 colors minimum, 5 to 6 even better. Another comment mentions the "double tap" Apple Pencil option in iPadOS to open the color palette, but double tap doesn't work if one's using a slip-over grip to hold the pencil, and that's still more actions than a simple tap on an additional color button.

    I use GoodNotes to teach and tutor math, and my students benefit greatly from the color used in my demonstrations and notes. They don't benefit from the time I spend trying to switch colors.

    Whether in portrait or landscape mode, my iPad has plenty of bar space for adding at least one additional color button, but presumably smaller iPads or other modes could have less space there.
