Use lasso tool to drag content to next page instead of having to copy/paste

I love using the lasso tool to move my handwriting around on the page. I also use the vertical scrolling feature to write my notes, but when I want to move text from one page to the next within the lasso tool, I can’t just drag it on. I have to copy/paste to the next page then cut or erase the text from the previous page. It’s a small thing, but a change that would improve work flow.

    I just assumed you'd be able to do this! I see there is a "In Progress" icon dated Nov 2018 2023 - is there a way of knowing any sort of ETA?

    Yes, and when I use the freehand lasso selection of text is sometimes lost which is super annoying. Appreciate if GoodNotes could include rectangular lasso selection when moving text between pages: it will make the entire process WAYYY easier. Thanks

    This irritates me so much whenever it happens because the natural work flow would be to drag it to the next page in vertical scroll mode.

    ah, I stumble upon this so often!
    it's one of these things that get annoying real fast, and so I'd much appreciate if this was added in the next version :)

    Hello, it would be very nice if it would be possible to move written notes or other content from one page to the next one without having to copy it. At notability for example this is possibly.

    2. It is possible to make screenshots from slides that are saved in goodnotes. It would be easier if the function screenshot would automatically copy the screenshot in the memory without having to go to the menu and manually save it and to later paste it into your own notes. That's also possible at notability

    I had recently purchased the app and notice how you can’t lasso the items and move them across pages, it would be amazing if it could!

    It would be just normal and natural to be able to do this without annoying copy/paste - I almost switched back to Notability because of this!! PLEASE, make your app intuitive and give us this feature!

    it'd be great if the object selected using the lasso tool can move between pages within having to copy and paste.
