Use lasso tool to drag content to next page instead of having to copy/paste

I love using the lasso tool to move my handwriting around on the page. I also use the vertical scrolling feature to write my notes, but when I want to move text from one page to the next within the lasso tool, I can’t just drag it on. I have to copy/paste to the next page then cut or erase the text from the previous page. It’s a small thing, but a change that would improve work flow.

    Dear Goodnotes,

    I have been using Goodnotes 5 for about a year now and one of the lacking features that I feel would add a lot to the application is the ability to move selected elements between pages rather than copying and pasting them. I know the current framework makes it difficult but I believe adding this feature would be very beneficial.

    Hi,

    I use a notebook for my to do list, and that list runs across multiple pages, so I often have to consolidate down items across pages.

    If I lasso select them, it would be much simpler to drag them to an adjacent page than to have to copy, paste on new page, delete on old page.

    YES! This drives me insane. I hate having to cut and paste images onto the next page when I could just drag it to the next page with the infinity scroll feature.

    Currently you have to cut and paste when moving selections/images between pages. Change this, so that it is possible to just drag it to the next page when in continuous scrolling mode for example

    Well, why should there be an extra screen element for such a feature? This can be perfectly accomplished with existing features:
    1) Select
    2) Click selection --> Cut / Copy
    3) Go to next/previous page
    4) Long click --> paste

    The use case to move the seletion to exactly to the next or previous (and not the 3rd or 7th) page is so rare that there shouldn't be an extra button for that.

    I don’t know how this only have 5 votes from 2017. It’s such an immediately broken behaviour. The work-around to move items between pages in the same notebook is to cut and paste which is much slower.

    I hope we can use lasso tool to select some contents and move those contents across different pages.

    Would be great to be able to move a lasso selection from the current page to the previous or next one, like when you arrange the app icons in the iPhone main screen...
