They can learn from Zotero which uses link on local devices to sync files easily.

Right now Goodnote on iPad is completely disjoint from Goodnote on my mac. I use Dropbox for all my files and backups. I should be able to switch between iPad and Mac seamlessly.

Without this the app is unfortunately kind of useless for me ;(

Please add this feature! I am going to have to change to another app soon without it.

I could really use this feature for collaboration, we have two people editing the same files (on different days normally) and they have to import the notes file, make changes, then export both a pdf for display, and the notes file for the next days import so that the other person is adding to their edits not overwriting them, this is a giant pain in the ****.

I need a 2 way dropbox sync instead of iCloud. Please support that

Sadly, because this feature is not available, I am still stuck using Goodnotes. PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE! Please! We love Goodnotes. This feature should have been one of the first to be added.
And PLEASE don't limit this to iCloud! Businesses everywhere use various other file storage apps (Especially dropbox). To limit to iCloud is to make your app unavailable to many people.
Thanks! We love Goodnotes!

An absolute must! I can't use GoodNotes until it has this feature. I have university lecture notes stored in dropbox that I sometimes need to annotate and then be able to see those annotations back on my mac promptly (without fussing about with exporting each file!). Dropbox auto-sync will compete this app. Good Reader does this very well, take notice!!! (And the ability to import a folder directly from dropbox, instead of doing each individual file).

This feature is essential. Users should be able to see all the files they have in Dropbox and modify them. After that, the file should be automatically uploaded again.

great idea! And please remove all the different backup versions of 1 file when it is edited! My Skydrive folder is getting stuffed with different versions of the same file because I am adding new notes. This is really annoying because it needs way more space than before with the One Way Sync.

My biggest issue is that I make annotations on my mac but would I also want to add annotations from my iPad on top of that. But when I import my pdfs from my mac, those annotations do not appear which is so frustrating because I don't want two different copies of annotations. I just want ONE copy that has ALL of my different annotations from my mac AND my iPad. If Good Notes can do this, it will officially become the best app.

It would be fantastic. A simple two way sync with deleting older files with same name would suffice!

This would be awesome!

I've been waiting for this! iAnnotate has this feature, but I prefer to use Goodnotes. If Goodnotes had 2-way syncing it would be Golden!

Yes! Even if it's with Dropbox or Skydrive or anything, a two way sync would be great. It would be nice to have a Goodnotes folder on my computer that I can dump files into, have them appear on my iPad, and then when they are edited on my iPad, have those edits and changes be reflected on my computer!
