Fast zooming (control + mouse wheel shortcut).
Hello,
please, include a very useful shortcut for zooming in .PDFs or any notes by "option + mouse wheel".
Especially, when I work without a Touch Bar (external monitor etc.), it becomes quite handy. Many 3rd party Apps use this.
Thanks for consideration!

Kanji paper as draft (for Chinese and Japanese characters)
Implement Kanji paper as draft.
For learning and writing Japanese / Chinese Characters (Kanji), a specific paper is used (see attached img). Implementing this paper style in GoodNote drafts would be great!3 votes -
Horizontal/Vertical add page
If you do your pages vertically, imagine if you could add notes on a horizontally added page. This would be significantly helpful for PDFs which take up the entire page for each page so you can create summaries, pointers or organize what is in the particular page.
On a separate note, it would be a nice addition to have this horizontal page be floating and following you as you scroll so you can continue to update this one page to potentially summarize the entire document in that one page (this could be an alternative option to adding a single fixed…

Border Color
Add more theme colors for the borders. When you open up a notebook, the top color is only blue with no option to change it, it would be nice if we could change the color of that to makes things looks a little bit nicer.

Flying toggle with colors
I use iPad 8th generation and the screen is small. So, when I use split screen with half side covering my book and other half with GoodNotes, the panel with colors and fonts disappear. So, I have to click on it again and again to change the colour.
It would be very helpful if there is a flying toggle with my colour options that I can shift here and there on my screen according to my convenience.
Also it will save me time of going to the top bar every time I need to change colours. It would also be…3 votes -
Vocabulary Toggle
You should add a feature that enables people to add a definition to words they highlight. When reading over your notes, you can then tap on that highlighted word and the definition will pop up.

Basic photo editing when inserting pictures
When I take a photo of something to insert into my notes, the lighting may not always be great. I’d like to edit a photo within the app to adjust lighting among other things to make the picture clearer.
I know I can take the photo myself and then edit in my photos app, but it’d be a lot easier to snap a photo in GoodNotes and edit it there instead of editing on my phone and then taking the extra step to insert into my notes. It’s simply a matter of convenience.

Changing the color and thickness of lines your draw and other drawings
Say you’re drawing a graph and decide later you want to change the color of the lines for better distinction. I’d like to select that one line with the drawing tool and be given the option to change its color and thickness. Although this can be done using the lasso tool, I found that using lasso makes it difficult to isolate one line when it’s intertwined with other lines on the graph. It’d be much easier to make edits with the drawing tool. If you use notability, you’ll know what I’m talking about

Jump between marks
Often when reading scientific literature, one has to quickly jump between certain pages (eg text and appendix or literature). A great way to improve the workflow in this condition would be the option to quickly jump between marks, for example by including little arrows left and right of the mark button. One could mark the appendix site and afterwards, when reading through the text, mark the current side, jump with the right arrow to the appendix, and then jump back to the current side using the left arrow.

Lasso context menu automatically open
After selecting something, you have to tap inside the lasso area to get the options menu to open (to let you take screenshot, resize, etc). This menu should open immediately after selecting something so you don't have to tap again. (This is how the menu on Noteshelf works)

Book like notes
I understand that you can open a second note. However, I don't think it is possible to have two pages side by side of the same notebook. I think this is probably the best alternative to an infinite page that cannot be done.
Imagine a physical notebook that doesn't have a spiral or three ring down the center. Just two blank pages next to each other on the same screen. This opens up the area to take notes.

Lines for writing on worksheet.
In university, there are some worksheets that are blank. Is it possible to have "virtual lines" so that our handwriting can be neater. These lines should not be permanent & not show up on the final document.

Fix images to the page!
For formatting reasons, I would love to be able to keep my images, tables etc. in the same spot. Even a 'send to back' 'bring forward' option. It's so difficult at the moment.

Keep stroke thickness when using draw and hold
I like to use the draw and hold feature since it's more convenient than switching between the tools, but it would be great if the stroke thickness wouldn't change to the default setting.

No more accidental closure & Add more paint tools
Sometimes I accidentally close a tab while I’m changing tools. Not a big deal, but it can be avoided by changing “x button” location.
+ We definitely need more painting tools.3 votes
