  1. Option to Hide Pages in a Document

    not sure if this has been brought up but as a student, sometimes our notes have pages irrelevant to our revision but we can't delete it either. similar to Google Slides, maybe Goodnotes can add a function to allow you to hide pages so that it wont appear when you scroll through the document, but can still access in the pages menu maybe?

  4. Mehrere Seiten Ansicht

    Hallo,

    es wäre super, wenn ihr eine Funktion einbauen würdet, wo man die Darstellung der Seiten von EInzahl auf Mehrzahl ändern kann. Also sodass die Seiten ähnlich wie bei Word einstellbar auch nebeneinander angezeigt werden bloß halt deutlich verkleinert. Wenn man dann weiterscrollen würde hätte man dann 4 Seiten auf einem Bild. Zum Schreiben sicher ungeeignet aber zu reinen Ansicht der Seiten wäre das super, weil man dann mehrere Seiten auf einem Blick hätte.

  5. When the "Ask goodnotes" window is open, marking a different section of text should automatically update the selection in "ask goodnotes".

    Ask goodnotes is a good thing but needs some pretty obvious, low hanging improvements to be really usable.
    When you mark a text and do "ask good notes", and then you want to repeat it for a different text, there's no reason why you should tap ask goodnotes again, the selection inside the "ask goodnotes" tab should automatically get updated.

  6. Page Up/Down and Fit to Page Shortcut Request

    I am writing to suggest some features that I believe would enhance the user experience of GoodNotes.
    As a regular GoodNotes user on both iPad and Mac, I would like to propose the addition of Page Up and Page Down functionality. Currently, users need to manually click the up and down buttons to navigate between pages, which is rather cumbersome and time-consuming.
    Additionally, I would appreciate having a dedicated keyboard shortcut for the "fit to page" view function, which is currently accessed by double-tapping. This would streamline the workflow significantly.

  8. More colors visible when window is set to 50% of the iPad screen

    When the app is set to 50% of the screen (split with another app), the colors picker (and size picker) become one tool and are inconvenient to use - because changing the color makes it your primary, instead of just swapping the one in use.

    There is actually quite a lot of space here when there are few tools used - so this split-screen view could work the same it works on the full screen - just show the few colors that fit the available space. The more tools someone use, the less colors he will see. This works on…

  9. I can never scroll to see hex codes in landscape

    I ALWAYS have my iPad in landscape orientation. So when trying to edit colors & hex codes, I have to turn my iPad in portrait to access the hex codes cause the pop up won’t scroll down. Very annoying.

  12. Change UI color as an option !! Can't stand blue UI any more.

    I was using Good Notes for a while, it was great. However, I can't stand the blue color of the ribbon in the UI any more (it's the same for me as with the OneNote, I can't stand their purple color). The white and blue UI in the reading mode is alright, however in the writing mode it becomes very annoying. Could you add an option in the settings to change the color scheme to white and gray (or some smooth black), at least make an option to preserve the reading mode scheme all the time even in the editing…

  14. Custom pens/ layers pens

    in a lot of my notes I like to separate categories/ideas/sub topics in boxes. My notes are color-coded. Most of the time it is a struggle to make the boxes Around my fonts. I do a layered pen design with two separate colors. It would be amazing to have better pen presets that allow total customization.

  16. Collections

    I have all my notes for medical school on goodnotes. It often happens that we have the same topic in different subjects. So it would be so great if there was a „collections“ feature where I can collect all notes regarding a certain topic from different documents without it being removed from the original document or folder.
    Just like when marking certain pages of my document, there could be a function „add to collection“ and then these pages are shown when I open the collection, but also when I open the document.

  17. Space next to the page

    For me, it would be so important to just write down my extra-thoughts next to the actual page. It could be designed as „post it“ that os not on top of the page it self, but next to it, or just blanc space next to the actual page.
    I mean, theoretically there is unlimited space in Goodnotes, but I can‘t use it properly to write my thoughts right next to the related notes.
    In my opinion, it would be a pretty basic and uncomplicated feature that would make such a huge difference for me!

    Suggestion:

    GoodNotes currently offers a library of pre-designed templates for various purposes, such as meeting notes, to-do lists, and calendars. However, these templates are currently stored in a separate "Library" section, making it difficult to organize and access them alongside other documents.

    Proposed Solution:

    Implement a feature that allows users to organize purchased templates within their existing folder structure. This would enable users to:
