Block zoom
Sometimes, when I’m handwriting with the page amplified, it comes back to the original size when I don’t want to.

Pop-up notes, cross-sectional view of pdf, easy visibility of pdf pages
I came over to the good note while using flexl.
Good note's handwriting and comfort are touching.
However, there were many inconveniences.
First of all, when I see the pdf horizontally, I see only one page, so it is a waste of space. Don't crosswise support double-sided viewing.
Second, I wish I had a pop-up note. There is a limit to taking notes on the pdf, and split views are uncomfortable.
Thirdly, I wish I could easily grasp the pdf page.
Hundreds of pages of major books are hard to open.
I hope there is a function to see many…2 votes -
Creating Space in already existing text - or scribbles on a page
I would join this wish, in combination with a feature from OneNote, which I appreciate very much: Create a gap on the page by inserting a space of any height. This creates space between existing text or sketches for additions.
It might be a problem to move the space to the next page, because the content of the next page is delimited. A compromise would be creating a page on which the moved part is pushed.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Changing the dimensions of shapes once they are drawn
Notability has the option of resizing the shapes, both enlarging and reducing but also making one side shorter or longer etc. I would like that in goodnotes

More robust and cleaner smart shapes
Hello guys, I've been using both notability and goodnotes for over almost 2 years now and i still cant crown one over another, but goodnotes is wayt closer to being the king over notability due to the versatility of the app, custom paper, tools, etc, but theres a tool that i use everysingle day, and that it is soooo much better on notability than on goodnotes, and thats the hold to snap / auto shape tool
I know we already have the snap to other shapes feature, but that is basically useless unlessyoure using lines..

The text function cannot modify the width
When I input some big size text or several lines text, due the text function cannot modify the width, so it cannot show it fully, sometimes it looks weird. I cannot imagine the result after I put this kind of text.

Cover Image Scaling on Import to Notebook Template
Can you put in image scaling for covers? Not the import image function, it's when importing Covers via the Notebook Templates Section.
Example, I find a free image I like, and download it, but when opening, find that it's square in shape. If I import this to the covers section, it retains it's square shape, and still, when selecting it for a cover image, it converts the size of the page to square to fit it's size.
What would be great is to be able to import a certain image, and convert it to the NOTEBOOK page size. For example,…

Using mouse cursor to select words.
In some pdf, the words are well formatted. Therefore, I thought it would be much easier for us to use mouse cursor or trackpad to select the word for copy and paste or translation.

Implement Click & Hold + Drag to select block of text on iPad OS.
Make text selection function like updates Apple Notes wherein if you click and hold and then drag you can select a whole block of text, the way you can on a desktop. Currently if you click & hold it selects a single word, and then when you drag the selection it moves the selection box to another word. Instead it should expand the selection box to highlight more text. Pretty simple but would be very helpful for me.

Collapsible or Thinner Toolbar like GoodNotes 4
I use GoodNotes 4 on my iPad mini 4 and love it. GoodNotes 5 however has this HUGE toolbar that gets even taller when there are open tabs, wasting a lot of my valuable screen-space. It takes up a solid inch of my 6.25 inch display. If it could collapse or otherwise be made closer to the height of the GoodNotes 4 bar (~5/8 in) it would remove one of my major blockers of adopting GoodNotes 5

When will we be getting new features?
It's been a long time since we've gotten any striking new features (the last one was the addition hold to snap shapes)
It would be amazing if good notes had a dedicated web page where users could see features that developers are working on.Some of the most wanted features I've seen are:
1) More colors in the tab bar
2) Adding colors to the tab bar that appears while using the zoom tool
3) Vertical split zoom tool while using iPad in landscape mode instead of a landscape split zoom while iPad is in landscape mode
4) Zoom in/…

Auto-create axes from lines
When trying to create any sort of graph, the axes need to have graduations at regular intervals. Instead of trying to approximate by hand, there could be an option after the line is selected, to divide it into any number of intervals.

Setting handwritten header as file name instead of 'Untitled'
Recognize handwritten header and set or suggest it as the filename, so i don't have a pile of 'Untitled' documents in my library. Just a little convenience feature.
