Toolbar Placement Options
You can choose to make the toolbar on the left or the right of the screen instead of solely at top or bottom. That way I can make the most out of screen real estate (especially when using my iPad on landscape mode) and let me hand use the entire top of the screen as well. As a right-handed person this would be useful as I don't need to use the left side of the screen as much

Move Multiple Documents
There is a move function to add docs into another doc, but it can only move one at a time, I often get lots of docs for reading in my classes and then import them into my notebook for the class to keep a record, If I were able to move multiple documents at once this process would be a lot quicker

trim audio recording
Sometimes we users forget to stop the audio recording, and wake up the next day to a notebook that has been recording for 12+ hours. Currently there is no way to trim the audio recording. It would be great if it were possible to trim it so only the part we're interested in remains in the notebook :D

horizontal scroll lock
I would like to be able to lock my horizontal position as I scroll vertically along a page. If I am trying to edit a document and zoom in very close to a blank section, it is difficult to determine whether my page is moving horizontally during my vertical scrolls. A lock button to prevent horizontal scrolling or vertical scrolling in some applications of goodnotes would be helpful in having peace of mind while scrolling in a relatively blank area of a document.

Voice recording pause buttong
I'd love to pause the recording and resume without creating multiple recording files in my notebook. The functionality to edit recordings would be great as well.

Colour Tags
I think it would be very helpful to have the ability to give the files colour tags similar to the files app by apple. And then maybe a select option on the sidebar where you can select between your colour tags.

pdf的自定义大纲希望能够自由移动和建立父子层级像真正的大纲一样
目前功能非常鸡肋，无法移动，只能修改名字，和实际学习时候需要用的大纲完全不一样，应该把自定义大纲做到自由移动并且可以形成父子层级的大纲
要不然这个功能“自定义大纲”真是一点用处都没有，假如你学到第20面，发现第10面忘了做大纲，那第10面的大纲就只能放到第20面后面，而不是可以自由移动到第10面，这个功能很简单，但是这么久都没实现，非常影响学习3 votes -

- Once an external link is placed in the document, it is interruptive to have to click through approval for External link every time you follow the link

Unlimited File Colour
I love that we can change the colour of files in GoodNotes 6 now, but I really want more options!! Have a file “preset” and add your own button would be great to make it customizable. Make it the same as adding new pen colours, with a button to open up more preset collections.

Annotation Search
I love being able to search for key words, both in text and my own written notes, but would love to be able to search for different types of annotations as well. For instance, I tend to highlight key terms in orange, so if I could search for all my orange highlights in a notebook, that would make it really easy to find all the key terms.

Please enable the synchronisation of the color palette between devices linked to the same Goodnotes account
This would be super useful instead of having to copy hex codes all the time in order to be able to use the same highlighter color on different devices .

additional languages for converting to text
hey, i speak hebrew and learn in my native language. it would be amazing to be able to convert my handwriting in hebrew to text. if you would add that to the options for text conversions that would be amazing! thank you

Edit Link settings > page by keyboard
In the "Link settings > page" we have to select the page from thumbnails, this is nice but I wish to be able to add/edit page number also by keyboard. When the number of pages are large it is really time consumming to scroll and search for a page in the list.

Please allow for multiple customized switching of tools when using the apple pencil. I would like to flip through all tools via apple pencil

I draw lots of diagrams. The scribble-to-delete accidentally deletes my diagrams.

Show a list of all notes, comments, and annotations in a document
There is no way to see just the notes, comments, or annotations made within a documents. Other apps like PDF Expert and Notability do this, making it easy to go through whatever pages have notes written in them or annotations or comments.
A nice bonus would be to also make comments searchable.

Allow panning outside canvas
Moving the hand outside the ipad to write on the right edges of the paper is not ergonomic. It's not always you have the option for a table to rest your hand, like in lecture halls
