  1. Permanent Selective Tool

    "A selection tool that makes everything inside the selected section permanent, which cannot be erased by an eraser or moved by an lasso pen".

    Add a warning as well to notify the user once made permanent cannot be reverted back. Let it be redone by undo incase of any mistake or whatever suits your logic.

    So the notes we take can be set permanent and if we want to scribble on top of it we can do so!!!

    an option to make a summery out of all highlighted text in the same color.
    so if I'm studying a topic with a lot of terms i would like to highlight the term itself during the classes and notes and after that have the ability to extract all the lets say yellow highlights as flash cards while one side has the term and on the other side have the sentence that followed it...
    that way you could have instant flash card built with your own summery and no need to make a new summery or read everything to study...

  3. shapes selection

    When you draw some shapes on top of each other and you would like to align the shapes perfectly, you can't select the shape you draw afterwards. May you can do it better. E.g. you can select all shapes near the area you have tapped with your finger.

  4. Add ability to copy sharable link from Mac OS Share Menu

    Please add the ability to copy the sharable link in the Mac OS share menu (managed in System Preferences > Extensions > Share Menu)

  5. GROUP FAVORITE

    Group and ungroup favorite pages in one same document. For example, when you do literature reviews in academic work is always useful to group information related to one concept or research question. It would also be useful to see group favorite pages from different documents that have been label with the same name

  6. Laser onscreen recorder

    Sometimes reviewing physics equations and organic chemistry mechanisms can be tiresome.

    I have a suggestion, if possible, design a way for the laser to record your writing. Allow the laser pointer to record how you write your notes so when you replay it and you can watch exactly how you drew your mechanism or how you did your physics problem.

  7. BUG : Arrow Keys not function to change the page

    The arrow keys work perfectly to change the page before iOS 15.
    after update to iOS15, it not working anymore

  8. Remove transitions when skipping slide with keyboard and make page count more visible

    I set my scrolling direction to "horizontal" and I often flip through many lecture slides for review. I would prefer the transition animations to be disabled when I use a physical keyboard to navigate (with arrow keys). The transitions makes it more tedious to skim through the PDF. It would also be great to have a page count more visible on the main screen (rather than hidden inside a menu).

  10. Text sizing PROBLEM with rotation

    There's a problem with goodnotes text selection
    I select the text and enlarge it and
    it just automatically makes it rotate by a small degree,
    which is VERY ANNOYING

    I can't make the text bigger without it rotating by 10 degrees or something
    Like i CAN, but it's very difficult.

    This is a bug this has to be solved;;;;;

    App works great. Being able to add grid lines to imported pdf would make it even better.

  12. Page with no dimensions needed

    There should be an endless page option. The actual page dimensions available are typical of a paper notebook. Turn digital! See apple notes app where there is no limit. Simple!

  13. auto linking to have a turn off option

    i noticed that they implimented for goodnotes to create an auto link whenever you type “.com” at the end of anything which is very frustrating when i am not trying to attatch any links. i have to click the link to unlink it only for it to come back the second i continue typing. Can you create a feature in the settings where this feature can be turned off?

    Sync saved coloureds for pens and highlighters across all devices. Also sync saved colours for pens to highlighters as well :)

  15. Selection setting to adjust pen’s thickness and a quick selection of pen style

    Suggestion:
    Add the option to modify the note thickness in the selection adjustment setting.
    Set the quick selection of pen style,including pencolor, note thickness collection pen, etc.
    In fact, it works pretty well so far,well,we can refer to notability to improve some individual functions

  18. Add 'look up' feature

    When we select a text in a pdf in goodnotes, we should get a 'look up' option similar to apple...
    Where we can instantly see meaning or search web!

  19. CROSS-PLATFORM EXPERIENCE: would allow the app to take market share from OneNote and Notability while making the experience better !

    A web version or PC version of the app would make it 10x better as someone who got an iPad for drawing medical figures in school but still uses a PC.

  20. Copy a part of an image in the pdf using lasso tool and paste it in somewhere else

    I want to be able to copy a part of the pdf (not just handwritten) and then by using the lasso tool (which is now just has screenshot feature) copy the part and paste it anywhere I want in the pdf. Have a look at attached pictures.
