  3. Synchronization through Goodnotes Account (between Windows and iOS/iPadOS)

    As I am using Goodnotes daily for school work I often need to access transcripts at a later point when I am doing homework for example. Having the option to easily access my notes on my Windows PC while I am writing on another part of the page or even another page on my iPad would make working with Goodnotes a much better experience, as the collaboration feature often not works for me as intended and is a lot more time-consuming to do.   4. Goodnotes Cloud Service Expansion

    Is it possible to expand the Goodnotes cloud service to all users?
    I read the page ( Goodnotes Cloud on IOS Pilot Program).On this page, the Cloud is only eligible for Yearly plan members...That is pretty sad 😢 What I am concerned about is I already paid for other cloud services. For iCloud,I won't pay a subscription.

    Meanwhile, I saw there may be invitations to upgrade iCloud to goodnotes cloud...hope that I am not misunderstanding, cause two statements are a bit contradict.

    If this advice will be accepted in the future, It is convenience. Thank you.

  6. Sort docs/ files/ folders manually

    The 3 automatic options limit my ease of use! i need certain notebooks or folders in a different order and i either need to rename them and hopefully it works as i need it or keep trying to find what i am looking for

  10. Drawing on Study Sets

    You should be able to draw on study sets. For example I am using a picture as my question for the study set, but want to highlight/mark or even point to a specific part of the picture. This change would have lots of applications

  11. Allow individual pages to be exported

    Currently on the Windows version, you can only export the entire notebook. For a student with a notebook containing 100 pages of homework, this can take a while, then I have to re save the PDF with just the pages I need to turn in. Please make it so I can select one or a couple of pages and export that group.

  12. Use the ask Goodnotes feature to actually study

    The ask Goodnotes feature has so much potential but is so limited in his uses right now. Multiple studies show that infos hold longer to memory when you tried to retrieve them. That is the case even if you didn’t know the answer at the time of the question. If we could use the Ask feature to create multiple questions on our document it could be so beneficial. Right now the fact that you cannot chose a segment on which creating questions or ask the app to create more is a shame.

  13. Add LaTeX Equations in flashcards

    I wished I could insert equations into my flashcards in the text part. Just like how I would insert an equation in LaTeX... Since GoodNotes allows to convert handwritten text to LaTeX equations, it would be nice to insert the LaTeX code directly into the flashcard for studying formulae.

  14. Continue recording in background

    Currently, if you’re recording in one window and want to open another document, you can’t without stopping the recording or without having the windows open before you start recording.

    Options for this:
    1. Add a quick note switcher or something like that so that you can easily open another document as a new tab.
    2. Allow the ability to open a new window of the app. Currently if you try to open a new window, it’ll automatically switch to the note that is actively recording.

    Use case: recording a lecture in your lecture notes and opening a textbook or another…

  15. Saving pen color presets for specific notebook!

    Being able to have colors that are saved per notebook would make it a lot easier and clearer what topic you’re noting. For example, if I use red in English but change the preset to green in Science, it would make sense that those colors stayed in their own presets in each notebook.

  17. Improved Highlight Visibility in Search Feature

    When using the search (find) feature, the highlighted text appears in a soft yellow color, making it hard to spot, especially if I’ve already highlighted other text.

    Please allow users to choose the highlight color in the search feature. The current dull yellow is difficult to see, and I’d prefer bold colors for better and faster visibility.”

  18. Add audio on written text.

    When we write something an audio tape would be really helpful. It works like the tape function but an audio is played when tapped. It will really benefit language learners as they can add the pronunciation on it and listen to it back.

  19. I wish the document view sidebar was just always closed

    I wish the sidebar when looking at your documents, when using the iPad, could be permanently closed & only open when I decide to hit the icon. It’s really annoying when I open my app & this sidebar is taking up a quarter of my app, all my files shift when I close it.
    Don’t get me wrong it’ll stay closed for a while, but if I don’t use the app for a little bit & go back in, the sidebar is open again. This isn’t the worst thing, but when it does happen, it’s a neusance.
