A choice of switching between answer and question to study in both directions

Text analysis: enable coding / tagging of text passages
I use GoodNotes for my studies and often have to summarize texts / papers or analyze them with regards to specific topics. What would be really helpful there if you can mark and associate specific parts of the text (e.g., some words, a sentence, etc.) with a chosen term ("tag" / "code") and have a view where you can filter for all of the passages marked with that tag. Researchers use that similarly for qualitative data analysis with dedicated programs (see for example: https://atlasti.com/2017/03/16/make-best-codes-atlas-ti/). Highlight in dark paper should be under pen
On dark paper when you highlight after writing, the highlighter goes over the pen instead of under, which is bothersome. Would prefer if y'all made it so that the default is highlight goes under pen no matter what the color of the paper is.

highlighter always under the pen
In my opinion it would be amazing if the highlighter aways automatically went under the pen, so it would work better with lighter pen colors and dark templates. The highlighter works good with black pen and it doesn't make it opaque or something, but I makes lighter pens murky. Maybe there could be an option in the highlighter settings to change wether the highlighter goes on top or bottom.

Different default settings for different notebooks
I use different size papers for different notebooks and have to change fonts in each one. One size does not fit all. Being able to have a default font for each notebook would be great. Also, some notebooks I use vertical scrolling, and some horizontal. Different defaults there would be great too. Other than that it is perfect for me. . Keep up the good work. .

Clothing rejection + even harsher palm rejection
Whenever I use the app and wear a long sleeved piece of clothing (Shirt, long T-shirt, hoddie...) the app detects the clothing as if it were a finger moving the screen or zooming in and out. This should not happen.
I also want to add another palm rejection mode. In which the app only allows 2 fingers at a time. The rest of the fingers (if used more) will get rejected. For example, if the app detects 3 fingers at the same time, it will do nothing (since every action requires only 2 fingers).

Lock Zoom in a Presentation ("trick" does not always suffice)
I've read the work-around of using two windows, but sometimes I want to zoom into a particular part of my visualization and lock this part, so students can better read this part. And at the same time I might have to zoom in even more so that I can better add aspects. It would be extremely helpful to have this lock-feature again. Especially on a small screen multiple windows result in having not enough space to actually do what I want to do.

convert handwriting into text
I would like to request a feature that converts handwriting into text. I know that the current lasso tool can do it, but what I asked for is a tool similar to lasso. Circle the text and it converts to text and replaces the original handwriting. This will be easier to convert current handwriting into text, also easier than the text tool.

Be able to add a name or description to the document when sharing
Please add a feature so that you can change the name of a file/document when you use shareable link. It will only show “GoodNotes”. Which makes it very confusing to know what’s what. I have attached a photo of what I’m talking about.

Small Grid Paper Template
When buying paper notebooks the most common page designs are:
- lines
- grid SIZE: medium
- grid SIZE: small
Please make a template for a small grids, as they are extremely helpful for STEM students. Could even be used by artists by using the template for their creations and later on changing the template t blank.

Remove the Thick Black Line Between the Pages
There is a thick black line between the pages to differentiate between them, make them thin and I want to be able to draw on them. Have a look at the attached images

- please arrange users' favourite pens in a separate line, so that people can move this line to different sides like ios memo. Meanwhile users can add and modify their preferred color and thickness of pens in this favourite lines so that users can choose them quickly, instead there are just three pens, which is not convenient now.

Streamlined Brush/Pen Option
Add an option in the brush (pen) settings to adjust streamline 0%-100%. This would keep handwriting neater for those who struggle with smooth lines and help enable people with disabilities or medical conditions to write easier. It would also allow for better drawing/sketching on figures to augment notes without relying on the hold to snap feature that doesn’t work for curved and unique lines.

PDF Text Selection & Annotation Improvements
The ability to select text from PDFs and having the option to copy, highlight, strikethrough, underline, and define (dictionary, lookup, read).
The already existing annotation options on GoodNotes are good for freehand writing, but it would be GREAT if the annotations be “snapped” directly to the text!

Option to disable press and hold to follow hyperlink in editing mode
I am using a planner that has the entire square of a day in a calendar hyperlinked… so if I’m trying to tap and hold to edit a sticker, etc. it only lets me open the link. I’d like the option to disable that feature…or at least append the image edit, crop, etc menu to the “open link” menu that is displayed….

Ability to find highlighted and hand notes in one place for documents
There are many requests posted for this feature but listed under different threads.
For students and professionals researching and taking notes this is very helpful when compiling or reviewing notes afterwards. Not having this feature defeats the purpose of highlighting and taking notes. Unless GoodNotes wants to just target small documents and sticky notes.3 votes -
auto linking to have a turn off option
i noticed that they implimented for goodnotes to create an auto link whenever you type “.com” at the end of anything which is very frustrating when i am not trying to attatch any links. i have to click the link to unlink it only for it to come back the second i continue typing. Can you create a feature in the settings where this feature can be turned off?
