We would like an option where students could highlight the text and have it read to them to help our low readers with difficult text. Maybe have it coordinate with the iPad Accessibility option of text-to-speech.

'Open in place' for PDF Files
Let us open PDF's from anywhere in the Files-App in GoodNotes and then edit them without copying them over to GN.

add insert (text) space between lines, in case a user wants to add additional text inbetween text lines
insert of split text function please... so if a user wants to add notes in between lines, s/he could insert a space and write

pdf page navigation
Page marker at the bottom (like Adobe Reader) to show you the page number in the PDF, the approximate location out of 100% and something you can grab to move through pages quickly. I often need to move through a PDF with 100's of pages, and since I don't know page I am on or what page I need to get to... using a menu to type in a guessed page number is very cumbersome

2 pens instead of 1
I have a simple idea to provide to pen icons above because during the lecture while changing color of writing pen takes some time . Having 2 pens we dont need to open color menu again and again to select the color. We can do it just by tapping

Dotted lines, tangent lock on shapes/lines and quick 3D shapes
I am an engineering student. After trying multiple apps your app has by far been the best for the college student who takes higher level math courses. Every other app that allows to draw decent shapes and lines are way too complicated and targeted more for artists. We need to be able to take neat notes that involve shapes and numbers quickly and efficiently. While I love your shape feature it is time consuming to draw 3D shapes while trying to incorporate dotted lines to show hidden parts of the shape. Having a dotted line feature as well as maybe…

To add the ability to edit files directly in icloud drive
I would love to see the feature to edit the icloud drive files directly. I have my mac desktop in the cloud and I would appreciate it if My annotations would be saved directly to the file in the cloud and furthermore on my desktop.

Switch color of pen without having to tap twice
Please enable users to switch colors of pen or highlighter just like the Apple Notes app or the One Note app ( from Microsoft ) , where I can just tap on the pen icon , and the color options will not dissappear after I selected them , but still stay there even when I write . This will allow users to switch color of Pen much easier without the need to select the pen option 2 times evertime . Thank you !!

Add outline editing, so we can create a TOC to navigate in
I would like to be able to create and edit the outline section, and make it exportable into a PDF document, too!

Be able to zoom outside the page borders
When you zoom in/out the borders snap to the edges of the ipad.
It can feel especially cramped when i'm trying to write at the top left of the page or when i'm nearing the bottom of the paper.

Support iOS 11 Files App and full Two-Way iCloud Sync with PDF-Files
Show the GoodNotes Files in the new iOS Files App as a pdf-Version to share and edit them easily with Apps like PDF-Expert.
A two-way sync would be also nice to edit files on any devices from the Cloud and have them automatically updated in GoodNotes12 votes
