To draw regular circles and ovals
The function to draw regular shape is updated, but draw regular circles and ovals are not available now
60 votesWe're excited to introduce support for circle and oval shape recognition with draw and hold. Now you can draw a circle or oval shape freehand and GoodNotes will automatically convert it into a perfectly shaped object.
To use this feature, simply enable draw and hold in your advanced pen settings. Then, draw your circle or oval shape and hold your pen in place for a moment. Voila! Your shape will be recognized and turned into a perfect circle or oval.
We're gradually rolling out the update. Refresh your GoodNotes for Windows app or restart your Goodnotes for Android app to update.

Ability to disable touch drawing or change touch sensitivity
I'm having a little issue with constantly having to undo because the slightest touch creates pen marks or drawings. It would be nice to have the touch sensitivity feature that iOS does because I currently use a Microsoft surface pen to draw and not my finger or another similar stylus. I know you can use 2 fingers to move the screen, but in the iOS version, it isn't necessary. I would love to see this update included!
34 votesHappy to announce that we've introduce a new toggle under advanced pen options to connect or disconnect stylus. This will ignore finger touch as drawing input when connected to stylus. Give it a try and let us know if it solves the issue that you faced.
Thank you for your feedback and keep em coming. We are actively monitoring this forum to know what to work on next.

Improving The Lasso select
It would be great if we can copy and paste the selected elements by lasso select. Also, there is something I didn't like about the lasso select which is that every time I enable it by the stylus button it stays on and if you want to change it you will have to select the pen or something else manually, and I think it should be off automatically like OneNote and other apps.
24 votesGoodNotes for Windows already provides support copy/paste objects. You can refer to this help article for more information: https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/5898634781071-Using-the-Lasso-Tool

A shape tool should be added just like the one in the iPad. (When you hold at the end of the stroke it crates the shape)

copy and paste from one notebook to another
I think this is already a feature on Goodnotes for Apple but can you guys make it possible to copy and paste from one notebook to another notebook on Goodnotes for Windows as well because right now it's only possible to copy and paste between pages within one notebook and the lasso tool is "refreshed" when you open a different notebook and doesn't remember what you copied on the previous one it would be really appreciated if you could make this feature ASAP thanks

When using GoodNotes for a planner function, a feature allowing us to jump from one page to another without having to scroll through every page would be ideal. Also along the same lines, the ability to set bookmarks on documents so we can easily jump to those pages.
