We're excited to introduce support for circle and oval shape recognition with draw and hold. Now you can draw a circle or oval shape freehand and GoodNotes will automatically convert it into a perfectly shaped object.
To use this feature, simply enable draw and hold in your advanced pen settings. Then, draw your circle or oval shape and hold your pen in place for a moment. Voila! Your shape will be recognized and turned into a perfect circle or oval.
We're gradually rolling out the update. Refresh your GoodNotes for Windows app or restart your Goodnotes for Android app to update.

On the IOS app the parabola is recognized and draw smoothly, here instead it is reduced to a pointy shape.
Also I would like to see the recognition of some symbols: electronic schematic (like resistors, inductors etc); math (like parentheses) and engenieering symbols in general. -

After we draw a shape with draw and hold feature, it would be nice to do some fine adjustments after the shape / line is drawn to make corrections to our intended goal.

As it sounds, when I draw a square it would be nice to have it converted to a Stright lined square, and when I draw a line, I'd love to have it straightened by the app.

Improve shape recognition when using hold down shape creation. At the moment, even if I draw a circle almost perfectly, it turns into a rectangle. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to use goodnotes instead of onenote, and I think this would be a great improvement!

Same. Circles become squares and rectangles don't stay parallel.

I just realised that goodnotes added a new feature. As much as I love it already can we please have circle and oval recognition alongside the square straight line triagnle etc.? Because currently wehnever I draw a circle I get a square.

When I try draw a circle and then hold down my pen so it yk rounds it self the circle suddenly gains four corners...
I would like it if when we hold down our pen instead of it just just always becoming squares or s's with corners, the shapes can also be rounded- circles
