I'd love if other (maybe big three) cloud storage providers were supported as means of syncing e.g. Google Drive. I own iPad and iPhone but do not use iCloud as it pretty much works only in Apple ecosystem and I also use Android and Windows devices.
As far as I know Good Notes already supports backups to Google Drive in form of PDF and their own format, so shouldn't be that hard to support also Google Drive as sync mechanism. And perhaps same for OneDrive. I currently prefer to use Nebo for notetaking which is subpar compared to Good Notes but offers Google Drive sync and Windows companion app.

I think it would be great to access goodnotes with the apple account for those who have been using goodnotes since the Ipad, and now that there is a version that can be used on a windows laptop; otherwise this version wouldn't be useful for us not being able to synchronize and work with our previous documents from the ipad.

PLEASE READ!
There is a very simple way to sync the IOS and Windows notebooks that updates in practically real time.
From your IOS device, open a notebook, click the Share icon and turn on "Share Link to Collaborate". Copy the link and open the link in Windows -

It would be amazing to be able to connect with an iCloud account, so that the users that already have goodnotes in an ipad o macbook can access to their current documents.

So we can sync on all devices. I would love to write down my notes on my ipad and read through my lecture slides with the handwritten notations on my laptop!

I agree, there is really no point using GoodNotes on Windows if I can't access my notebooks...

I would only use it on Windows if I can use it synchronised with mi iPad, otherwise It wouldn't be helpful for me.

I would pay a lot for this app if there were Cross platform integration. Example, I can type out my lecture notes on computer and then hand write my notes on my iPad in real time. Seamless transition. In my field of study (Accounting), I have to type out tax laws and concepts really fast while also drawing out accounting math. I would like to use this feature before I graduate in 2024 LOL

I currently can not access my notebooks from my Ipad on my laptop, so i have to create new notebooks for subjects I already have

Would be fantastic if we could edit our iPad documents on Windows and vice versa.

It would be better if GoodNotes on Window can sync with GoodNotes on IOS as this will make life easier as everyone was using iPad for GoodNotes before and would expect to sync their document onto GoodNotes on Window to make life easier

Hello it would be real nice if we can have an "apple id" log in option for people that have notes on their ipads (like on Macs)

Perhaps a synced version could be view only so that you can access it on other devices at the very least so to avoid if progress was made on both of the versions and a conflict between which one is the one that needs to be updated happens when syncing

The trouble with syncing between iCloud and windows is probably apple and Microsoft working smoothly (which I'm pessimistic will happen lol), so, what if a user could host their own storage or syncing solution that could sync over multiple devices on different platforms? each device could have a local copy, and just connect to sync up

This would be awesome but I kinda see why it would be a pain to do. IOS is mostly kept on icloud right? so for both to sync up id think the windows version would need to sync with icloud which, apple working with windows that smoothly? impossible lol, and a goodnotes run sync server without a subscription seems uneconomical, so perhaps the best we can hope for is a possibility to sync with google drive or something?

I think that the most important feature for existing GoodNotes users is the ability to access and edit existing notes on different platforms.
Notes backed up on icloud, google drive, onedrive or dropbox should be accessible and modifiable.
I back up my ipad notes on google drive and it would be extremely useful if i could access my handwritten notes on my windows laptop and combine them with typed notes. If these feature would exist, then GoodNotes would be my only note taking app. -

Since GoodNotes is primarily used by Apple users, I would really like to have an iCloud integration. If I don't have access to my files on my iPad, GoodNotes on Windows would be very useless for me.
