    Yes I would like this for lists, otherwise I may not realise when a list ends.

    Especially for iPhone, because at the moment when you turn your devise to landscape, it snaps to length which is just crazy... why would you turn your device to landscape if not to increase the width being displayed... not decrease it which is what happens. I don't understand this behaviour at all. Actually I don't see why this couldn't be made a preference so that this becomes automatic if you want it that way.
