I am beyond frustrated with the disruptive update that you released directly in the middle of midterms. My biggest request at this time is to provide options for how the outline is ordered. I had my entire set of Chemistry notes beautifully organized in my outline. The update came out and the order is completely screwed up. This is one of the most ridiculous things that you could have done. A company whose sole directive is to produce an application for taking notes should know not to mess with things during midterms and finals. Major updates should be released in the summer.

Please add an option for how the outlines are ordered (i.e., the user can decide on organizing by date created, page number, alphabetical, etc.).

Also, stop the lasso from defaulting constantly. Leave it to whatever tool I selected last, or at least reset it to default to the pen.

I can't believe how long ago this update was released and there have been no fixes or reversals for the insanely large list of items users are frustrated about. I was waiting for an update, but given how long it has been, I'm concerned that nothing is going to be fixed. I understand that change is important, but don't force people into how they use the app. At least provide options to customize or revert major changes.

Hello! We’re excited to let you know that we’ve updated the Text tool and introduced a new dedicated floating menu for text boxes, including more customization options.

One of the new tools is Pin Text Tool — when enabled, it keeps the Text tool active so you can create multiple text boxes continuously without having to reselect it each time.

This is especially helpful when you're focused on adding or adjusting text in your notes. The pin will automatically turn off once you switch to another tool.

Feel free to try it out and let us know how it works for you!

This improvement is available in the latest Apple update.
