The trick that helped me was changing the shape recognition delay in the settings. It made the tool feel a bit closer to the old snap behavior, even if it’s not perfect. I also started tapping the screen after drawing a shape to lock it in before adjusting, which keeps it from wobbling around. Not ideal, but it saves me from wrestling with circles that keep turning into potatoes.

Capping new cards would save my brain from feeling like it's doing laps without a water break. Anki's daily limit keeps things chill, so having something similar here would keep reviews from piling up like laundry on a bad week. A simple slider for new cards per day would already do the trick and make longer study streaks way easier to keep going.

I keep bumping into the same headache whenever I’m trying to lay out study diagrams or quick UI mockups, and honestly the manual nudging gets old fast. I’ve been using the dot grid as a rough cheat, but it still feels like eyeballing it. Having a simple snap or align option would save so much time and make pages look way cleaner without all the fiddling.
