[Selective eraser is in progress 🚧]
Hello,
Thank you so much for sharing your suggestions! Great news! Selective eraser is currently in progress and will go live soon.
This feature will allow you to erase with total precision. Simply select a single content type and erase only those marks, even when dragging the eraser across a mix of handwriting, doodles, and text.
We’ll keep you updated as things move forward, and we’d love to hear your thoughts or any additional feedback you’d like to share in the meantime.

Like Apple notes the eraser should be more precise so you can get a sharp edge. Right now every time you erase you are left with a rounded edge which not everyone likes.
