Sometimes memory can be lost due to unforeseen circumstances
Let a person who added a lock to a file or notebook at least be able to delete it since only one password is used for everything you lock. Especially if they’re trying to have a medical folder due to their HIPPA rights. I mean seriously I can’t even lock my medical information folder now.

Customizable Long Press Tool Switch
Assign tools to long press — e.g. long press to switch to eraser, release to go back to the previous tool. It’s faster and more reliable than double tap or the current long press toolbar (which isn’t that useful most of the time).
A lot of students at my uni prefer Notability just for this feature — especially since scribble-to-erase isn't always accurate. also the scribble to erase is sometimes not precise enough or just does'nt work 100% of times so long press really is a deal breaker.

Please change the angle of flat edge in tip flatness.
It’s exactly the opposite to a fountain pen settings in apples markup.In Apple Markup, the flat-tipped pen mimics a real fountain pen, where the angle leads to horizontal thinness and vertical thickness. In Goodnotes, it seems pen engine uses a different angle orientation, making strokes thicker on horizontal movement, it looks so bad, please change it. Thank youn

Improved Connector Handwritten Item Selection (VIDEO)
Hi there!
I absolutely love Goodnotes and the direction of BETA. However, during my experimentation, I discovered a limitation compared to Miro. For the record, I believe Goodnotes’ writing experience is significantly better than Miro’s. Nevertheless, I need connectors that function 2-way in relation to handwritten items. (SEE VIDEO)

As you can see in the video, once I connect handwritten items in Goodnotes, both ends of the connectors don’t move in sync, as Miro’s connectors do. This limitation is a critical one in my note-taking and mind mapping process. I do see this works fine with shapes, but not…

Do you know what the most frustrating thing about Goodnotes is? EXPORT TO PDF!!
When you export to PDF the filename is hidden behind the IPad keyboard!!!

Linkable sections and content that can be added to outline
Right now it is only possible to add an entire page to the Custom Outline or create a link to an entire page.
It would critically enhance productivity if users were able to select some parts of the notebook and add it as a section in the outline, or create a link to a specific section or line of text.
It should be possible to for instance mark some content such as handwritten text, an image, an Element, a Textbox etc. and either add it to the outline with a customized name, or create a link to some content.

Ability to attach timer to a specific item)s) on a pqge
I use Goodnotes to create, track and make notes for my guitar practice sessions.
One of the learning methods proven effective for adult learning is “interleaving”: choosing 2 or more practice objectives and spending a short defined time alternating and/or rotating through each item in a defined time period (eg. 5 minutes per item).
The ability to attach a timer (appt watch and / or count down) to each item on my practice sheet to set the target time and record ye actual time spent on each item. Displaying the time on the notes page vs in the timer widget…

いつもGoodNotes 6を愛用させていただいております。素晴らしいアプリを開発いただき、誠にありがとうございます。
本日は、今後の機能改善を期待し、一点ご要望があり連絡いたしました。
それは、「ページの拡大率をパーセント（%）で表示する機能」を追加していただきたい、というものです。現状のGoodNotes 6では、ピンチ操作でページを拡大した際に、その倍率がどのくらいなのかを知る術がありません。
その結果、ノートを開くたびに拡大率が微妙に異なってしまい、文字の大きさが揃わず、書き込みの体験に一貫性がなくなってしまいます。特に、細かな図や整ったノートを作成しようとする際に、この問題は非常に大きなストレスとなります。ズームウィンドウ機能が便利なことは承知しておりますが、ページ全体を直感的に拡大・縮小しながら書き込みたい場面も多くあります。
他の多くのドローイングアプリやノートアプリでは、拡大率の表示は標準的な機能として搭載されています。ぜひGoodNotesにもこの機能を追加いただき、より快適で質の高いノート作成体験を提供していただけますと幸いです。

Separate section of highlighted text
Whenever I read a book or document I highlight texts ,please add a separate section like outline for each document where highlighted texts are mentioned and way to export these highlighted content in flash cards format.This will help many students .

Automatic Outline creation with lasso tool
Using the lasso tool, when I select a title I could make it a heading, subtitle or subheading & the app would automatically recognize it and show it in the outlines tab.
