Full screen mode
The GUI has a lot of "lost space" - especially in landscape mode. Would be great to have the full screen for a sheet of paper with a rearrangeable toolbar. Would be extremely helpful for iPads with 9.7 or the upcoming 10.5".

I screen record myself in Goodnotes doing hw problems for my course or doing extra practice problems for students. The top bars really stick out as wasted space in the videos. A more compact UI would greatly improve the quality of screen recordings using Goodnotes.

YES! In addition, allowing the use of the Apple Pencil tool palette would allow us to use full screen while keeping the full Apple Pencil functionality to mark up documents. 99.99% of the time I use pencil, highlighter, and eraser. That’s it.

I just purchased GoodNotes 6 Lifetime, but missing this feature already. It's mindblowing to me that this is not a possibility.

Cannot agree more on this feature.
This feature is super important, especially after I switched from 12.9 inch ipad to a 10.9 inch one. If your designers don't know how, please just refer to Notability.
I am now switching to Notability from Goodnotes since I am using a 10.9 inch Ipad. If Goodnotes still does not have this feature, I will definitely go to Notability.

Agree with a lot of the comments on here re lost space etc. The system program already has the option to display the page full screen, if this could become editable rather than read only then you would make a lot of loyal users very happy and an even more productive. The full screen option as read only feels quite redundant when you can simply go to the layout options to find the page you are looking for easily enough.

Please, THIS is NECESSARY!
YOU CANNOT therefore design a single planner with RIGHT size,
'cause SCREEN SIZE in EDITING MODE is ALWAYS DIFFERENT THAN when in VIEWING/READING Mode only!! -

Please implement a full screen mode with a customizable and movable toolbar. The toolbars on th etop of the wrinting page take up way to much space and are useless during the writing process.

I’ll pay for an update that will allow us to work on a full screen surface / hide the toolbar

Fullscreen mode should also be available when WRITING / sketching not just in "protected mode"

YES!!! The blue toolbar is absolutely UGLY!

Having the option of not seeing anything but the page when writing/drawing would be sooo nice. You could make it so that if a person would be to double tap the apple pencil, the toolbar could be shown again. You dont have to implement a whole new layout, just give us the option

Comparing them to other noting applications it seems like an excessive usage of the space we have on the screen. There should most definitely be an option to allow full screen or at least minimize the toolbar while writing on an iPad. The current full screen option is an only read mode and isn’t as helpful because most of my work consists of writing and typing. Really looking forward to a next update. Thanks.

Yes please give a full screen mode. Especially important for smaller tablets such as the Ipad Mini. So much space wasted on left and right sides of documents. When zooming in to fit page width to screen, it's frustrating because when scrolling up/down the document accidentally moves left and right due to excess margins on left and right sides.

There is an option it’s just hard to figure out. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner and then press the screen once and the tool bar goes away and the screen is now in full screen mode
