More color options in top menu bar (more than just 3)

On OneNote I have 14 different colored pens and highlighters up top. GoodNotes is superior to one note in almost every way except this one. I color code my notes, so I am forced to used one note. If I were to try and color code using goodnotes, it would take me hours longer because there are so many extra clicks to get to the correct color of pen or highlighter. Having more color options up top and allowing both pens and highlighters in the menu bar like one note would be amazing.

There is plenty of room up there, changing pen thickness is not important enough to have that much space up top, other colors are. But honestly there is plenty of room for more colors, you could just shift the thickness all the way to the right and the other menu options all the way to the left and have room for 10 more colors.

    Agree! I draw and write alot for class so I need to use many colours for my writing to be simpler to follow.

    This was made in 2017 and now it's 2022. Please make this happen, the customers want this and it will be a huge advantage for students.

    Yes pleaseeee! Anything between 5-10 colors would be great! 3 is way too less! Same goes for the highlighters.
    Also, can there please be an option to group together handwriting? This in there in notability and is super helpful to me as a med student, for diagrams etc. I like goodnotes better than notability overall but I really miss this feature.

    Yes, please! At least 5. I hate not having enough highlighter color options easily accessable. also make the toolbar customizable. I don't use stickers, and have no clue when someone would use the laser pointer. I wish I could get rid of them. For writing on my computer I use Scrivener and they let you completely customize the toolbar. at least some customization it needed in goodnotes.

    I NEED THIS ASAP!!! I personally do not use stickers and the laser light. You can add in the setting the option to add more colors on the toolbar so we could customize our experience.

    honestly please do this. I only got GoodNotes for the hype and as soon as I realized it only offered three pens at a time I went back to OneNote. I need my notes to be color-coded and why doesn't GoodNotes offer this already?? It's a simple fix as others have pointed out, and I'd like to use the app.

    Such a basic feature that you presume is included in a notetaking app, but apparently, it isn't.

    I can't understand the people behind this app, there are multiple very basic and fundamental features that is missing and been requested for years, but nothing has been done.

    I recently found this new app "Flexcil Notes", which has this and many other features that improve my workflow. It also has a much better PDF support and UI in my opinion. It serves my needs much better. 🙋🏾‍♂️

    Please, for the love of god, please do this or at least comment on it. If good notes allowed more saved pen configs it would easily be the best option right now but instead I can’t even use it because I need to constantly switch pens and this interface slows me down way too much

    Don't understand why GoodNotes is hesitant to make such a small update... Shame
