Erase with a Gesture while using the Pen Tool
Gestures would erase lines without switching to the Eraser. Allow a variety of gestures: scratch back and forth, make a proof-reader's delete stroke etc. Ideal would be a way to define your own gestures.
This is a feature at least one other (left nameless) drawing app has, and makes writing/drawing really fluid.

Any update on this? Really missing this feature. Scratching out a word works much faster than double tap the pencil (and switch to the eraser). It feels more natural as well (when writing on paper you would do the same).

I know a lot of people who use GoodNotes that also use Procreate and a gesture that I am constantly using is erase. Double tap with two fingers takes back the last thing you did and so on as many times as you tap. I am always switching from one app to the other and I wish the erase was much easier to access as it is in Procreate. Makes my workflow much much easier.

Now they have no eraser options in the zoom view so my arm gets super crazy tires

This is the only thing that I miss from using Notes Plus. You can scribble much faster than switching to eraser even using the tap feature on new Apple Pencil.
