Math graph input
What would be great would be a feature where you could insert a Cartesian plane and type 1 or more functions in a field for them to then be drawn on top. This would be harder than implementing parabola or trigonometry templates but the result would look far better then a hand drawn option and will be more accurate. Looking at some notes in the community section it's clear to see that a lot of people would benefit from such a feature.

Select Flashcards
The ability to mass select flashcards in a pile, either to delete them or to duplicate certain ones. Sometimes I get shared flashcards from classmates but want to delete a number of them at once, which isn’t possible, so I have to delete one by one which is not only tedious but also reduces productivity.

PDF export (editable) bug fix - missing hyperlinks
So, basically, I got .goodnotes file (digital planner imported from pdf) and when I make export file as pdf editable with annotations and background - it creates pdf file (yeey) but most part of hyperlinks are missing, or some layer of text is missing.
For example - hyperlink to January, February will work, but April will not. Also I did re-check exported pdf into foxit reader - and it also shows that there is no particular hyperlinks but my main file do has. So it means, there is this annoying bug. Also, on iPad 9th gen Goodnotes 5 (last updated…

I suggest AUDIO deleting and trimming option shall be added
Sometimes I record an audio accidentally or say something that is not useful or maybe record class audio and forget to stop recording while mid class breaks in such cases not having a deleting option and a trimming option ends up adding to my storage unnecessarily.

better text alignment options
I think these two text alignment buttons in apple notes- as shown in the attached image -give more freedom and more alignment degrees than the 3 buttons options in goodnotes which are less functioning( i.e. just extreme right , center , extreme left )

larger thumbnails
Larger Thumbnails. One of the great things about keeping notes in a paper notebook is that you can quickly skim through previous notes. You flip through pages very quickly finding what you're looking for. Thumbnail view is the best way to do this with digital note taking. Please give the option to increase the size of the thumbnail to make this easier.

Flashcards
I feel that the flashcards would be perfect if I was able to flip them and get tested on the "answer" side. when I'm studying a language, I want to be able to get tested on both languages. And if it's possible, it would be amazing to be able to mess with the setting and get a mix of either side of the flashcards in a study sesh. Also the ability to randomise flashcards would be great. In general, more customisation for how we want to be tested would be awesome. Other than that, I'm really happy with this flashcard…

Sync colors across platforms
Can we have syncing option for Pen and highlighter color? Most of the colors are on iPad, but the colors are not transferred to the Mac. It helps to keep things color coded still while on the laptop.

Add fill bucket, to easily fill out big areas fast.
Add bucket fill, like it is in most painting apps. It would make note-taking a lot easier if you want to draw a picture for something.

Annotate Flashcards
I will love to be able to annotate and highlight key points on my flashcards after creating them using the text function. I was using study sets for a presentation and thought that will be a great feature.

Re-add 3 pen thickness selections on the toolbar
This used to not be a problem until a week ago but since the update for more pen colors on the toolbar, the pen thickness is now behind two tap s, one to open the menu and the second to select the thickness. This has affected my usual work flow and it’s more tedious than I thought it would be initially.
Also the addition of more colors on the toolbar is not ideal for me since I just like to work with three colors to keep everything simple and clean (the UI also feels more cluttered to me for some…

Create Study flashcards from notebooks
The ability to create fast flashcards by using the lasso tool on notebooks.
Currently, to study and get asked with the study mode we have to adapt our notes to flashcards mode.
This is really annoying: we have to do all the notes of our notebooks in a Flashcard template, or we have to write again our notes in the flashcards in the Study set.
Is really tedious and redundant to create notes and afterward to write again your notes in flashcards(my current situation)
I believe we should add the next feature:
- The availity in a notebook to create Questions/answers…

Fast Access to different types of thickness of the pen
A few days ago, a new update changed the menu bar for selecting between the three thickness options. Now it’s an additional, surprisingly very annoying, step away. Now you have to open a tiny window, in order to open the three types of thickness of your pen and to be able to select one of them.
Please go back to how it was earlier or at least let your customers chose.
It was so much more convenient.6 votes -
Please add the 3 different sizes of the pencil back in the button bar!
Since the last update the 3 sizes of the pencil are under one button. This takes extra time when taking my notes in class. Please incorporate the 3 different sizes back in the button bar!

Dynamically extend imported page
Hey
I‘m studying philosophy and we have a lot of PDFs we have to read. While reading it is sometimes necessary to make notes beside the text, but often the PDF itself does not give enough space to properly write anything.
Currently I use the MarginAdjuster app (on iPad) to extend the space left/right to each PDF page and THEN import it into GoodNotes.
It would be awesome to have some similar functionality directly in the app itself.
Thanks!

Text in sticky notes should lassoe together with it, when written over a handwritten text.
Sticky notes make more sense when they can be used 'over' an existing hand/typed text. When the sticky note is moved to another location, the text written over it also moves and the text beneath stays at its original place. It then serves it's purpose well.

Margin Extender
Be able to add set amount of blank white margin to an imported file. Currently, my round about would be open it through the MarginAdjuster app (Made by some japanese) the after editing it in the app, open with Goodnotes. It would be better if the process would be seamless and more people would be able to access this kind of feature.

A lot of ideas
I've been using Good Notes for university and life in general for two years now, and there are several features that would make the app a much better place to study.
I've thought about them and here they go (my native language isn't english so sorry if i make mistakes):-The audio option could be better (it would be great to be able to leave them inserted as stickers in any part of the sheet and thus divide the audio into sections, and that when pressed the previously recorded audio would sound). Also give them names and that they are…

duplicate
Remove the "Command + D" when within a document. The reason for this request is "command +F" is a function I use often. Because of the proximity of D and F on the keyboard, I often mistakenly duplicate an entire book, sometimes containing thousands of pages and notes and imported pictures. Another fix would simply adding a prompt "are you sure you want to duplicate all 1xxx pages?" then have to click yes. It locks up my computer when it duplicates. Thank you!
