  1. Please Improve GN Typing

    IDEAS:
    - Draw your text box
    - have the ability for images/stickies to wrap around the text
    - add the ability to select written notes into a custom font
    - create your handwriting font
    - outline like google docs
    - more bulleted/numbered note options
    - checkboxes
    - ability to set different texting fonts/size defaults
    - better ChatGBT compatibility like Notion

  2. Add pages all around the paper

    It would be really great if you could add pages to the right, left, top and bottom. At the moment you can only add pages either top and bottom or right and left.

    When you go out of a document and go back in again you should be able to still undo.
    Also the button for undi and back are way to clos os somtime accedenatly hit back when i press undo the the when i come back i cant undo anymore.

  5. better hyperlinks and option to remove page transitions

    we critically need better methods to hyperink, easy for kids to understand and have transparent hyperlinks and the ability to hyperlink elements the current method is honestly awful and frustration

    another think which i dont uderstand why your people havent done for years is the option to remove page transitions, please give us the ability to turn that off

  6. Page cutting to content

    It would be great if there was a feature so that you could cut a page to the content. This would allow you to cut out unnecessary lines at the end of a page and improve the layout of the notebook.

  7. buy full package of goodnotes directly from appstore

    my company is using goodnotes, we need to have an option to buy the app directly from appstore rather than creating the purchase after download (in app purchase).
    i mean a paid package that i can pay already through the app store.
    is is possible?

  8. A favorite list in the marketplace

    Add a heart ❤️ icon on each item in the marketplace so that I can return to it and check if there is a discount or if some day I really need the item I will find it more easier because I will already have save it

    I’d like the option to, when creating a notebook, be able to have it generate a certain (customizable) number of pages ahead of time so I don’t have to add them one at a time later

  10. Selected highlighted text with (a) comment(s) into it’s own page!

    When I download .pdf files such as study guides for my classes, I love to highlight each question and add a comment to it which allows me to use active recall and organize the answers directly to the comments, this is awesome!

    What would compliment this is allowing whatever is highlighted with an embedded comment, to also have an option to view both the highlighted part and it’s comments in it’s own page! For example, I would love to share my comments that I have made for the questions on my study guide, and have what I’ve typed already attached…

  12. All IOS/ipad features and stability for Android samsung tab also

    Beta versions of app having bugs like stuck while scrolling and missing many features of my ios tab. I'm using samsung tab s8+ having powerful hardware configuration, So please improve your software as fluent of ios tab with all that feature including sharing file in pdf or goodnotes formats so that we can export or import goodnotes file between ios and android, please consider this. I'm doctor and this app is very helpful for me and all medicos. since long time I'm using goodnote5.

  13. Search

    For Goodnotes 6, the search function is way poorer than it was in Goodnotes 5. It was now harder to search for some words that I can easily find in Goodnotes 5. I don’t want to have a downgrade though so please, please improve the search button to find more accurate.

    If it’s not too much to ask, could we have an option as well to change color of searched words in search button? Because it’s only in orange color and it’s hard if we we’re using orange highlighter.

    Goodnotes and Notability should join forces and combine all their good factors and ideas to create a super note taking app. You could call it
    'Supernote'. All other name ideas can be mentioned in comments.

    It would be great to have an option to decide if the automatically create form is filled with full colours (just like the outline) or pastel colours (like it is now)

  17. Extra space for notes in PDFs

    Infinte Page / Extra Space for notes when editing a PDF

    I'd LOVE to see this! Like, I use the vertical orientation when I take notes / edit a PDF and I think what would really elevate the App would be if there was the option to not only add pages below my last one but sidewise to every other page es well.

    Like right now you can do this:

  18. Powerful Scan/ crop

    When you are in the classroom sometimes you take a picture of a projected slide from the side, so the picture is in “diagonal” or angled. There are apps that allow to adjust for the tilted angle to return the picture so it looks like it’s facing forward. It’s better, and more readable. It also takes less room from you note since you don’t have excess corners

    The request idea is to be able to adjust the corners so the picture adjusts the angle and it looks facing forward

  19. bring old pen size curser on toolbar back

    After the new update, we got the option to have more than 3 colours in our tool bar, but we lost the quick access to pen size curser because of that.
    Definitely a downgrade.
    Having to click on the little icon to change the size is so annoying and time consuming.
    So please bring the old version back, where we can have our 3 pen sizes directly onto our toolbar.

  20. Disable Top Tab Bar

    Option to temporarily and quickly Disable the Top Tabs. In a way... like the toggle to go from View to Edit Mode and back. Basically need a button to press... to turn off the tabs. Pressing the button again will turns the tabs back on.

    I am left-hander. Apparently, I also "write-up-side-down". See Image.

    Because of this.. my palm constantly hits the tabs - and the notebook will changes. This happens all the time. Everyday. Multiple times a day.
