Handwriting stabilisation
It would become much easier to create neat handwriting and notes that are functional and pleasing to look at. A feature in which you can adjust the stabilisation to your preferences and needs (similar to what Procreate offers) would be highly appreciated and helpful, especially to those who struggle with stable handwriting for medical reasons.

Apple Shortcuts Support
Currently, GoodNotes offers a few basic actions in Apple Shortcuts.
I would love to see more advanced actions that allow users to customize their workflows to a greater extend.Here are some automations/workflows I could imagine:
- Shortcut to open the notebook corresponding to the lecture your currently sitting in (by checking your current calendar events)
- Every evening, automatically check whether I’ve written something to my diary today, if not, prompt me to do so and open the last page
- Every evening, check which lecture notes were edited, then export them and share them with a friend who doesn’t use GoodNotes

Study set improved for language learning
Hi,
Study set is a great fonctionality.
I would love to use it to learn new languages.Currently, I am forced to write in question the word I would like to learn, in answer the answer in my native and do an other card with as question the word in native and as answer the word I want to learn.
It is time consuming. Can it be a part of Study Set to be able to revert and learn it as well ?

Pen stroke editing (more than just color)
It would be nice to edit drawn lines (line weight, pen type, line type) in addition to color.
I often have to delete a line and redraw it if I need a more bold line.

Page thumbnail on the left on iPad
Display the thumbnails of the pages of the pdf of the left hand side on iPad. Like the Preview app. It would allow for easier page changes and going back and forth between pages.

Airdropping Goodnotes 6 pages to someone with GoodNotes 5
When I airdrop a Goodnotes 6 file or page to someone using GoodNotes 5, it crashes down and the folder to which the page has been added can‘t be opened any more. Especially at school this is a big problem - all our pupils use GoodNotes 5, some teacher use Goodnotes 6. And now I can only airdrop pdf files, which does not allow the children to move around bits of text. Please make the two versions compatible.

appearing trash can down below like with instagram reels or tiktok...
Similar to how it's done on Instagram reels or TikTok, a trashcan icon would appear all the way at the bottom when you have something selected with the lasso tool so you can easily drag it and discard it in one step instead of having to select a tool, long press and select 'delete'. This is especially helpful with text, as it is annoying to go through the process of deleting it.

Eu reparei que vocês tem um modelo de educação interativa para alguns vestibulares na plataforma de vocês. Procurei por provas como o Enem ou a Fuvest, mas infelizmente não encontrei. Gostaria de pedir para vocês implementarem exercícios para esses testes Brasileiros que são bastante populares! Mesmo que não fosse gratuito como os outros eu pagaria para ter acesso!

Goodnotes 6
Goodnotes 5 has been superb as a notetaking app. Goodnotes 6 is following the path of other apps to add features, change structures and increase file sizes with cosmetic changes that don’t improve efficiency or effectiveness. Microsoft OneNote has many features and much of what Goodnotes 6 offers. The extra features don’t improve navigation or effectiveness and make the app clunky. Rather than have one app that must DO everything, if you want to add features, create two. One that is great for notetaking and one that adds the frills, takes extra space and add “glitter”

Option of putting some sheets of the current bloc note on the side
We can do that by opening an other doc, but it isn’t ergonomic.
Having the option where you can choose one sheet of the bloc note and stick it to the side would be an improvement.

change date and time last modified
Can you guys make it possible to edit and adjust the last modified date and time (similar to google photos) for notebooks it would be really helpful with keeping the notes sorted in order of last modified but also being able to make changes on the notes without them getting moved all the way to the start if we don't want them to be this would be an extremely helpful tool for university students especially it would be greatly appreciated if you could add this feature ASAP and also please include this on Goodnotes for Windows which I'm using and…

Bring back separate pen size buttons
The new feature that condensed the pen sizes into one button is clunky and adds two clicks to the process, and you have to change your grip to tap the screen with your finger to get rid of the drop down menu. Bring back the three buttons for pen sizes, at least in horizontal view.

per document settings
There are quite a few preferences, that should be set and/or remembered „per document“ and “not app-wide” because they depend mainly upon the content and style of each notebook. Including:
scroll direction
auto advance of zoom window
last used size of zoom window
last used margins of zoom window
pen colour presets (we now have a 3rd tab for recently used colours, this should be a “document colour preset” or “recently used in THIS document” instead)
last used text style and text box style (and user style presets if we ever get them)

Easier Accecibility to colors choosing
On ipad when you make the window of goodnotes smaller the color options disappear and it’s very annoying the whenever you want to change a color or anything specific all the window is hidden , pleas give me the chance to contact you and explain you how many things are annoying in your app that it can be the best without a competitioin

double tap
With the double tap, we select the previous tool, but it would be very nice if we could select just the previous one.
For example: If I am underlining with two colors (blue and red) I can go from one to the other with the double tap.6 votes
