better shapes like notability or onenote
The recognition feature is great but i miss the opportunity to make precise rectangles like in OneNote or in Notability with the shape mode that launches when you hold the pencil stil.
Moving the corners of a shape ex a rectangle and enabling a background color in the later run would be lit as well

Import Multiple Files in Goodnotes 5
In goodnotes 4 you could import multiple files at once, whether they be templates or new PDF notebooks. PLEASE bring this to goodnotes 5!

Highlighter and UI improvement
The highlighter actually is “bugged”. For example when having a darker template (dark/black), the highlighter just blends in the background/ is dulled. And changing it to be brighter and crispier could be great too.
The other thing I want to talk about is in the tool bar when we open the tool’s menu, then to close the menu we have to tap elsewhere. It could be cool to close it by tapping where we opened it (tapping the tool itself).
Other than that, you do a really great job, there is other things which could be improved or added, like…

Page rotation help for writing with disabilities PLEASE!!!!!!!
For those of us with disabilities an others it would be awesome if you would create page rotation. I love the app and this would open up longer use for us. Thank You
1 voteHi there, you can rotate any page by going to the thumbnail view, tapping the “select” button in the upper right and then selecting the pages you want to rotate. After selecting, tap the “rotate” button at the top.

Die deutsche Übersetzung ist "beschneiden". Ist etwas unglücklich weil man dabei an die Beschneidung denkt aus dem Islam irgendwie. Ich würde es auf "Zuschneiden" ändern.

Good Note 5 trackpad
Trackpad and mouse support of Good Note 5 is too limited. I hope more feature will be added to the next update.

PDF direkt in Notizbücher importieren
Wenn ich bisher eine PDF Datei in mein Notizbuch importieren will, kann ich nur zwischen dem zu letzt geöffneten Notizbuch oder den Überordnern wählen, in die ich das PDF dann als neue Datei einfügen kann.
In fürheren Versionen konnte man ein PDF, z.B. aus den Dateien, in jedes Notizbuch als Seite importieren.
Bei der bisherigen Version muss ich erst meinen Scan machen, dann daran denken, dass ich in Good Notes das richtige Notizbuch geöffnet habe und kann dann erst das Arbeitsblatt in mein Notizbuch einfügen.
Das kostet viel Zeit und nervt, daher würde es mich freuen, wenn Sie die Möglichkeit,…

PDF import in notebooks
When I import a PDF file in good notes, I can only choose to import it in folders or in the last opened document/ notebook. In earlier versions, I was able to choose also notebooks to import my PDF as a site.
Now, I have to go to my scan app, scan the document, go to Good Notes, open the right notebook, go to the scan app and just then I can import it as a site in the right notebook.
Please bring that back. So, you can save a lot of time.

Resize boxes / lines / shapes etc.
When you add a shape, you should be able to easily resize it, because often it is not exactly how I want it to be and then you have to redo and then do it again and again and again until it is how I want it to be. This takes a lot of time.

Better Sharing (with link)
Link the documents in iCloud with the new iCloud folder sharing. If you've enabled iCloud, why it's not possible to share docs you want to share just by sending a link? I mean, with iOS 13.4, Apple made this possible. You send a link, you tap on the link, Goodnotes asks you if you want to import the docs. That's it. Much better for large folders and I would save a lot of data volume.

File name editing on mac
When editing file names on my mac i can't use my arrow keys to navigate/edit. When hitting the left arrow key it even asks me if i want to delete the file. Would be great if this was changed to behave like in the textbox.

Share same document with friends or coworkers it’s more simple all we can write on it and see what we are on.
Like taking note with my friend in lecture. Or in our meetings.

Change color of machine text
Currently it is not possible to change the color of machine text once you have left the text box.
Please add a feature to change color of machine text later on.5 votesYou can already change the color. Select the text tool in the toolbar if not already selected, and tap on the text box again. Then you can edit the text and also change the color.

Please please add a feature to convert hand written notes to the same page. You offer to export the converted hand written notes to text, but you should allow to change the notes in the fly to the same page you converted. Please! Your note application will supersede all others with this feature!

Use chromecast with Goodnotes 5
I think it would be a really good feature to be able to cast this app to chromecast because a lot of people could take advantage of this.
