Edit scanned documents (Even if they are templates)
It would be nice if it were possible to edit images in Good notes, because sometimes I have some dirt on the scanned document due to scanning and I cannot remove it.
I also often have the problem that I want to remove something that was previously visible on the document I scanned.
Please add a function to edit images and scanned documents to make this app even more perfect!

Mirrored Drawing Mode
A Pen/Pencil Drawing Mode , where it "mirrors" everything you draw along the "x" or "y" axis.
This would allow for drawing custom symmetrical shapes much faster and easier.

Feature to denote a particular "to do" which will automatically sync with apple reminders across devices. This way, it rounds up all of the "to do" tasks in one spot and brings to your phone/other devices

Add attachments to notebooks
Sometimes, I take notes that relate to documents. Currently, I can import those documents within the notebook but that often makes notebooks unnecessarily large and it's not easy to navigate through so many pages.
Instead, it would be nice to be able to attach files to notebooks, so that they are at hand when reviewing the notes.

Mirror presenter page: scale to align top and sides rather than top and bottom
I use goodnotes on an ipad when teaching large calculus classes. The vertical scroll feature with "mirror presenter page" is great, but currently the projected image is scaled so that the top and bottom of the student view matches the top and bottom of the ipad view. This forces the instructor to turn the ipad sideways (in landscape orientation) to make use of the full width of the projector screen. But then the zoom window interface hides at least 1/3 of the screen on the ipad, obscuring much of what the students see from the instructor's view. It would be…

Improve the highlighting tool
As of now, I love the highlighting tool. I love how you can highlight in straight lines and how the highlighter automatically appears behind your writing or text, and doesn’t alter it’s colour.
However, on all the pictures you post on your website etc, all the hand drawn diagrams are beautifully coloured in.
THIS IS NOT REALISTIC.
To get a uniform line, you cannot lift your pen off your screen, otherwise the highlighter’s colour « builds up » to become darker.
This is very annoying because it makes coloring in simple shapes very difficult.

Apple's PDFKit allows to show two pages of a PDF side by side. PSPDFKIT (which is what Good Notes 5 uses) should support the same option.

Better Handwriting Recognition Line Breaks needed
When I convert handwriting to text, every line of handwriting has a hard line break after it in the resulting text. When handwriting a longer report, this is quite troublesome because my handwritten lines have fewer words than my typed work does. I have to go back in later to remove all of those breaks manually. Is there any way to get around this so that it is by paragraph instead?

When adding new page while being zoomed in, the page automatically jumps down to the new page. It’s better to not change position on page, it would feel more natural

Sharing on macOS just like Evernote - FROM EVERYWHERE
Please allow sharing to goodnotes. I just bought the new app to support you, but on IOS I can share a webpage as pdf to goodnotes, it's not great but at least something.
On macOS the productivity is broken really.
it doesn't make sense for me to keep Evernote and GoodNotes togetherplease integrate to the OS properly

Add plain text export.
As a user, I would like to be able to export some or all pages of a notebook to plain text, so that I can process the resulting text further.
Why would you want to convert handwritten notes to plain text?:
- can be more easily manipulated by text editors
- more readable
- easier to share

zoom window magnify location
When the zoom window is first activated, its position on the original page is centered. When the zoom window is again activated, its position is the last position zoom window was located.
I wonder if it's an improvement to allow the user to choose where the zoom window magnify after tapping on the "zoom window" button. Basically should it be a two-step gesture like this: First tap on the "zoom window" button, then tap the document page where your want the zoom window to magnify.
