Return option
“Return option” it would be great that after you open a document and have opened so many pages you could have an option to jump straight to the main documents page instead of clicking so many times to return to open a new Document but still be able to return within that currently open folder or document page by page as it operates now

Please let me export my notes with both the outline and searchable texts
The problem I currently face when I export my notes in pdf format is that I can only export it with the outline preserved or with searchable characters but not with both features, which is vexing to say the least as both are essential for me to structure my notes.
It should not be a huge technological barrier for GoodNotes to break through,right? Thanks, I need this new feature stat.

Take a picture with iPhone camera instead of iPad camera.
For better usability it would be easier to use user's iPhone to take picture and it is a feature I need every day. (Apple notes app has the feature)5 votes -
Allow Apple Pencil to hide toolbar
Allow the Apple Pencil configurations to include double tapping to switch between the active menu bar and the hidden menu bar. This would quickly allow me to switch between modes when working in a document that has hyperlinks, which require the menu bar to be hidden.

2 Finger Tap to Undo
I would just like to feedback that I appreciate the added feature of 2 finger tap to undo but it is not working well and not as responsive as other apps.

Recognition of underlined text
Dear All,
It would be great if Goodnotes could convert underlined handwriting into text as well. Currently, if you try to convert a word with a letter, whose "tail" intersects with the line underneath, the recognition simply doesn't work. Perhaps you could just exclude objects drawn with shape tool from handwriting recognition. Thanks!

Option to select and keep 3 most used fonts on the top of the Font List.
Option to select the 3 most used fonts by the user on the top of the font list. At present, I have to scan the whole list to select the desired font if I am inserting text frequently.

Multi-select for the Lasso tool
Ability for the lasso tool to select multiple items that are different places on the page. I see this being useful for quickly changing the color of multiple lines of text or moving items at the same time.

Keyboard writting switch automatacly to next Page
Please ad when i'm writting with the Keyboard, that the text on the end of the page switch automatacly to the new page and you can write a long text without put a new start point on the new page.

Improve the use of keyboard shortcuts
Match shortcuts with keys as in a computer. Moreover, when you go to the next page with the keyboard, the page advances but not the page counter and you cannot bookmark that page correctly, for example.

Allow customization of highlighter and pen colors
I would love the ability to customize the highlighter and pen default options to my favorite choices so they are quickly available with out having to go into the color picker every time. The ability to add additional pen/highlighter choices to the toolbar would be great too.

File navigation
It would be great if I can navigate to the folder where the document came from when select back option. It’s difficult when you have a massive nested file system. On the other hand, it would be even better to able navigate where you want in the level of nested file by pressing the file address on the top.

Make auto advance more versatile
When you are about to write on the edge of a page, GoodNotes doesn't support moving the blue frame beyond the edge so that you could comfortable write in the middle of the screen, while the text is being written on the edge.
The image shows how I imagined it.Unfortunately when not longer holding the frame with a finger the blue frame just goes back.
Adding this feature would remove the need of having to move the frame to a place where it would auto advance into a comfortable writing position5 votes -
Change Page Buttons
I'd like to suggest that you put something like an < and > on either side of the page that can be tapped to turn the page back (if to the left) and forward (if to the right). This would making turning pages much easier. Currently we have to swipe with multiple fingers and it takes multiple swipes to actually turn the page. A directional button like we see in kindle or iBooks would be so simple and make turning pages as easy as tapping the directional icon with the pen tip.

Quick Toggle to Switch on and off Auto Deselect tools
Implement the ability to have the option to single tap a tool to enable auto deselect and long press to disable auto deselect. The user can have the option to enable auto deselect as is now. If it’s enabled, then a single tap of that tool will activate the tool with auto deselect but a long press would activate the tool and temporarily disable the auto deselect until the user switches back to another tool. Going into sub menus to enable and disable this feature each time is time consuming and distracting.

Adding an outline by selected text in a PDF
I work a lot with imported PDF and want to organize them with outlines. I usually select a headline on a page, copy the text, select Add Outline (with two clicks) and insert the copied text.
I'd really like to select a text and have the option to directly add an outline in the context/selection menu (directly besides marking or copying the text).
This would mean only 3-4 clicks instead of 8.5 votes -
Pencil case; easily accessible pens of varying type, colour, thickness
I’d like to have a bar containing my pens where I can customised the colours, type, thickness so that I don’t always have to go back and forth to change the properties. This would indeed increase my productivity while writing a colourful note
