  1. Open the notes files with goodnotes on windows

    Now the goodnotes on windows beta can only create notes files but can not open the notes files created by ios or share the files to other equipments. Naturally, I know that now the beta version can not sync with iphone or mac, however, the functions I mentioned beyond is also very important.

  3. Replacing Specific Color with another color

    Changing the color of all a specific color. An example being able to change all the color red on a page/throughout the notebook into blue. Having to lasso colors to change it can be a slow process, so it would be nice if we could do it with a few clicks.

  4. automatic page numbers at the bottom corner of the page (included in export)

    This feature would add automatic page numbering to documents. This feature will be enabled in the document settings and and exporting the document in any kind of way would keep the page numbers, unless disabled in export options. Everyone I ask is annoyed, that something like this doesn't exist, so adding this feature might actually increase ratings. I hope you add this feature because I really need it. Thanks in advance!

    Edit: The user should be able select where the page numbering should start (For Example: The page numbered first can actually be the third page)

  5. Better Functionality for Resizing/Rotating Handwriting

    I'm aware I can resize/rotate my handwriting already, but, it doesn't have an option not to keep the aspect ratio. Sometimes I want to squish my handwriting a little to make it thinner inside a box.

    This option I've only seen it with Elements, but even then it's a Click/DeSelect/Hold/Click again and THEN editing. It's clunky. I think this also needs to be streamlined if added for handwriting. Not a fan of Rotate/Resize being the same handle either. It makes me make a selection bigger or smaller when trying to rotate.

  6. Hand writing recognition languages

    It’s amazing there is so few languages that can be recognized. It has been a known issue for years, and that’s why other apps or even platforms is moving up so fast ( Nebo as an app, or Supernote/Boox as e writers).

  7. sign in option for users - avoid sync problems

    Hi! So it would be really nice if there was a sign in/log ing option. This way, every user could sign in a device and have all the documents there without the need of exporting the data. This doesn't mean to delete the sync option with other apps like Google Drive or OneNote, but it would be nice. For example, if you buy a new iPad, you wouldn't have to export de data from the GoodNotes app from your old iPad to the new one, you should only sign in in your new iPad and all your documents would be…

  9. It would be really nice if people could use Good Notes for reminders as well. To be able to take notes and reminders then set an alarm.

  10. Detachable color palette for pen and marker

    Detatch the color palette for markers and pens so you can change colors quickly and move wherever you want. The palette could be moved freely and displayed vertically or horizontally. The background could be translucent but the colors in the palette could be shown correctly (rn Night mode shows highlighters colors in a weird way)

    It would be very nice if importing a book as a PDF does not wash away all clickable links.

  12. allow removal of "zoom | add comment" popup upon long press on the screen

    Whenever I type and sometimes my hand rests on the ipad screen, the popup appears and it is really very frustrating. I have taken the one time subscription but still goodnote fails to provide the service.

  13. Different Coloured Pages , More options for the Pens.

    Colouring Pages , More options for the Pens.

    GN5 latest version is FAB, but these are the major changes i am looking into. I have been using since an year and recommended to all my friends , and most of them purchased it. It's an easy going app.

    1. Colouring Pages with whichever colour we want from the colours - like we do for the pens

    Please add a 4th and 5th color option on the tab! It's a hassle to change colors every time.

  15. Scroll without hiding toolbar

    While editing a document scrolling is possible only with fingers but doing so smudges the screen. Scrolling should be possible without hiding toolbar.
    To write or edit: select a tool.
    To scroll: tap on last used tool thereby disabling it.

    For reference: try annotation feature of One drive on iPad.

    Something that hides the UI while you’re taking notes and/or moves the brushes somewhere else so it doesn’t get in the way.

  17. disable snap-to-grid

    I take a picture of a bathroom and use goodnotes to draw simulations of furniture and tiles etc. on top of the image i.e. the straight lines on the image does not align with the straight lines on the grid paper (due to optics, angles, wide-angles, etc.)

    Quite often, it is impossible to draw the correct straight line exactly from the correct points on the image e.g. floor corner to ceiling corner, because Goodnotes insist on snapping the line to the underlying grid.

    I wish I could completely disable all snap-to-grid functionality.
