  1. handwritting converted to text automatically

    like scribble on apple you can write and it changes to a font. similar to notability, you can write and it converts written text to types text.

  3. select text

    On my Mac, when I double click the mouse pointer on a word to select it, GoodNotes responds by increasing the zoom level of the note -- the word is not selected. When I double click again on the word, GoodNotes responds by unzooming. In every other app, I can select a word by double clicking on it -- this is my preferred app response since it is what is expected throughout all of computing. I would appreciate it if GoodNotes behaved the same way -- select, not zoom. Thank you.

  4. Move Quick Note to Notebook

    I want to create a new Quick Note and then when finished move it (all pages) to a Notebook. At present I can tap the File name and it only allows me to move to a Folder. The only viable option is to use the page picker, select all pages and then I can move to a Notebook - lots of taps

  6. Beautify handwriting

    I've seen a lot of requests to enable in line replacing of handwriting with text. This would be a killer feature and would make the app even more fantastic. It would be awesome if this function could (also) be used to make handwritten notes clearer.

    Microsoft Whiteboard on Surface already uses this 'magic wand' function:

    Key is that the algorithm replaces the handwriting with legible text using the same color, comparable size and a suitable font.

    This feature works great to make handwritten notes better suitable for sharing with other people.

    There should be a section goodnotes that is accessible only after entering an access code similar to locked notes on iOS. This will allow users to save sensitive notes in a separate section.

    I'm a surgical resident, and I've used almost every form of note taking, app and study method available in my 30+ years of being a professional student.

    I've used Notability for a long time, but switched to Goodnotes because of the feature set, community, and one-time fee model. There are a few key missing features that make me switch back and forth between the apps.

    Disclaimer: I realize the amount of effort it takes to execute new features and believe people should be compensated for their work. I would not be opposed to in-app purchases for the additional features proposed…

  12. Added the ability to create a folder in Favorites

    Added the function of creating folders in the Favorites, so that the collection page of different files can be sorted and summarized, users can more intuitively and quickly find the corresponding collections of the corresponding files to avoid the problem of cluttering different collection files in Favorites.

  13. Add double page template for duplex printing

    Add template with alternating borders. First page big border left, second page big border on the right. I know there is a symmetric template with big borders, but need all space on die page. The problem comes up when I punch it and put it in a folder

  14. Seperate the Buttons for turning objects and changing their seize

    Or just add additional buttons to do those things separately. Or better: give us the option to activate those additional buttons.

    From time to time i don't want to change the seize of objects while i want to change their angle. Right now, for example, I am using a geometric ruler which isn't a standard tool for Goodnotes right now. For measuring angles and lengths, i need to turn and move the ruler without changing it's size.   17. multi page pdf to template

    I'm unable to add a template with multiple pages. Not allowing this makes it where I cannot use the auto-zoom feature because it zooms too far down and cannot be adjusted unless it's a template. PLEASE FIX!

  18. Automatically "Copy" when you select "Screen Shot"

    I usually screenshot parts of a pdf (i.e. questions) and then move them onto a new page (to solve).

    Right now I have to:
    - Select the region
    - Select "Take a Screenshot"
    - Wait for a pop up window to show up
    - Press the "Share Button"
    - Wait for another pop up window to show up
    - Press the "Copy" button
    - Wait for both pop up windows to close
    - Then hold the lasso tool and press "Paste"

    It would be great if I can just:
    - Select the region
    - Select "Take a Screenshot"
    - Then…

  19. Hidden Notes

    When highlighting a word or sentence in an imported pdf, tap to enable a hidden note embedded within the highlight. The reason I say imported pdfs is because most files do not have space to take notes on the individual pages so embedding your note within the highlight provides space to take notes where the note applies while keeping the file looking clean.

    i.e. the definition of a word in the middle of a paragraph

  20. Writing tools,crayons

    I hope to develop crayons similar to those in iPhone memos. Writing with crayons is really beautiful.
