Merge the top and bottom toolbar into one so that there is more useable space.
There are two toolbars unnecessarily. Top toolbar for browsing slides, searching for specific words, undo button and the add page button. Bottom toolbar for writing tools. Top one only uses up the left and right side (with the title taking up a huge amount of space in the middle) and the bottom toolbar only uses the middle so they would merge perfectly if you just moved the title elsewhere, thus giving us the users more space to write/draw on.

是否可以在工具栏加上一个锁定当前页面不可编辑的功能？因为页面长期处于可编辑状态很多时候在复习阅读笔记的时候会不小心触碰到里面的内容，有时还会误删一些东西或者不小心打乱了当前页面的排版。这样笔记还要从新编辑一下。如果有一个当前页面锁定功能就可以防止这些误操作。希望得到贵公司回复。谢谢。

Show MB size of each document in folder
The thing is:
I added some huge pdf files in Good Notes, then iCloud complained that it's almost full. So wanted to delete some documents, but I couldn't check which one is bigger.
So, just showing how big a documents is, maybe next to the date and time when last edited, would be just perfect. And probably one of the easiest features to add, I would assume.
And maybe also show the size of each folder?Would that be possible?

Goodnotes Website
I want to be able to see my notes from anywhere. I don't have a mac but I still want to be able to see my notes. Maybe you could make a website and you can log into the website to see your notes.

Integration with the Apple file system (the Files app)
I'd like the Goodnotes file system to be integrated with the Apple file system such that you could access all the .goodnote files in their relevant folders through the Apple files app. An example of a use case for this would be when transferring many pdfs into the app, a simple drag and drop or creation of folders and files in the Files app, would allow you to import many files or move them quickly.

Automatically created notebooks by days
This feature should look in all notebooks when new pages were created, and then at the end of a day create a notebook which has all the content of that day. So you have a summary of the complete day, and do not always have to look through all the notebooks.

Custom template categories
I have a number of custom templates. Most of them are not any of the existing page sizes (not A4, letter, Goodnotes standard, etc.) Could we have a "Custom" template category, or better the ability to create our own template categories?

GoodNotes on Mohave?
I would love to use GoodNotes on my MacBook Pro, but I can't update my system past Mohave, because that is the last version that still supports some older 32 bit apps that I still use. Would there be any chance of doing the testing needed to support MacOS 10.14.x (Mohave)? I absolutely love GoodNotes on my iPad and would to use it cross-platform. Wes

In the add page button, add command to duplicate current page
I like to start my header with a cute font that helps me differentiate between sections and navigate more easily to a topic when I review for exams. My process for extending the notes on section when I run out of space for a page entails a complicated ceremony of tapping on the “More Options” menu, then selecting “Copy Page”, then waiting a second or so for it to copy, then tapping on the “+” page button, then selecting “Paste Page”, and finally a brisk celebration knowing I didn’t have to copy a page by hand that I spent ten…

Links and tags with bidirectional movement
Any ability to easily add links and tags would be great...
But look at roam research and think about how you might add automatic indexing and cross linking!Would be killer.

Search for Exact Phrase
Please enable search for exact phrase within quotation marks. Right now the engine searches for words separately. When the search phrase contains some common words like “the”, “of”, “a” etc. a pile of irrelevant search results would come out.

Scale imported PDF to GoodNotes 5 standard paper size
When I import a PDF to an existing notebook I have been using for handwritten notes, the PDF size is much larger and makes it so I have to keep zooming in and out as I read through my notes. Please make it so that there is an option so scale my imported PDF to standard GoodNotes 5 paper size to match the rest of my notebook!

An option for reversing the location of the close X feature when closing a book.
Because I'm left handed, when I'm writing in the top corner, when I rest my hand it sometimes closes the current book that I'm on. If you could put the X on the right side of the tabs that would make my life easier.

Section Breaks in Thumbnail View
There are only two things I’d change about Goodnotes 5, and this is the more prominent of them. I would like to have the ability to add sections to the thumbnail view, just to make it easier to find chapters/sections/topics in my classes. A simple line between the first and the next section with an area to write the name of the section would be more than enough. Easier Matrices (New shape for Shape Tool)
I am a mechanical engineering student and I need to write many large matrices in my notes and calculations daily. At least half of my class of 100 use ipads for notes and problem sets and I have heard the same idea from many people.
It would be incredibly useful if you added the large matrix bracket to the shapes that the shape tool recognizes. I mean "[" and "]" but with the ability to draw them as large as needed with straight lines.

Full typing capability like a word processor
Would be great if the textbox function did more to convert the page to a full word processing document rather than being restricted to the paramaters of a word doc. This would mean automatically going to the next line when typing, font/formatting automatically adjusting to the page template (i.e. actually typing in the lines when I'm using lined paper instead of me having to resize the box and font to try to get them aligned), adding strikethrough and other functionality, etc. Especially for goodnotes desktop! Image Gallery tool similar to Key Notes
It’s where we can choose photos and group them all in one gallery tool. We are then able to just swipe or click the right button to view the photos.
I need this tool because I use good notes for daily journaling and sometimes I have too many photos in one day and it gets too messy if I upload them all. Thank you.

Preview Internal Links of PDFs
When reading a research paper, in-text references often link to the "References" section at the end of the paper, where the full reference is listed. It would be helpful to preview the linked part of the PDF to see the referenced paper without losing my current spot in the document. The attachment shows how this is implemented in the PDF reader of my computer.

Notes next to scanned documents
How about an extendable (in centimeters/ adjustable) section to the left/right of scanned documents where you can take notes (in line with opening a new tab but a little bit more streamlined). This way you could have annotations within the document and more real estate for actually writing within the document.
