  1. BUG : Highlight the search item

    The search function work perfectly only for the word that already exist within the file, not the text I have type.
    I usually take note by type the text within the file.
    When I try to search the word, it can detect the text, but not highlight the search item that I have type it.

  3. Export and return Bug

    After I export a pdf document to another app and then import another file to GoodNotes, the screen is just dimmed as if it would give me the option to select an import location.

    For example, i would export my science homework file to an app. Then, I would import another homework file into GoodNotes while the export option is still open and it goes dim.

  4. Bug report - Crashing in split screen mode

    When in split-screen mode, with iBooks on the left half and goodnotes5 on the right, when changing pen colour and thickness very often, the app will crash

    Is a consistent problem, please fix

  5. Apple Pencil 2 bug

    Apple Pencil 2 often randomly automatically changes to eraser even when I do not double tap. I have noticed this very clearly and happens quite often.I haven’t faced this issue with other note taking apps.
    I am using iPad Pro 12.9 5th gen

  6. optimization about open file at the same time

    Q1.it will stuck when opening two or three files (about over 500MB each) in split screen mode.
    Q2.it will stuck when opening two or three files (about over 300MB each) in multi-tab pages.
    Q3.it will stuck when using a file over several hours(over 5 hours indoor and over 2 hours outdoor(may be because the weather is hot) about over 500MB),and the picture page of PDF will turn white and only show all image(lines,txt,draws…) made by GoodNOtes5

    can you do some optimization on these problems?
    such as pause the status “respond at any time” of the file which dosen’t be focused…

  9. Fix circle bug

    Good Notes is the best programm I have used in overall performance. I often use the "Draw and Hold" mechanic. The only thing that annoys me is that i can'T erase things, which I draw in a circle. It always deletes the whole circle! It would be great to have the circle behave like the square: You can erase things which are written in the square and erase the square by erasing the edge!

  12. Mac iOS glitch fixed

    The glitch on MacBook Pro, iMac, or Mac iOS, in general, is horrible. Taking notes by typing in the textbox on a PDF lecture on a Macbook or iMac is super lagging and annoying. I prefer typing over writing since it's quicker. However, it seems like I wasted more time adjusting, double-clicking the textbox. To make it worse, sometimes all the text disappeared after typing in the box, which is extremely annoying. This does not happen with my iPad though.

  13. Bug found in goodnotes zooming text

    Having two split screens open with one side covering 3/4 of the ipad screen leads to a zoom issue. This is how to reproduce it, load two documents in the good notes split screen mode, the smallest covering 1/4 of the screen in lanscape mode. Double tap to zoom. Leave goodnotes. Reopen it. See that the zoom mode is wrong: small text on right side split screen zoomed in accidentally. See attached footage of the bug. Ipad os and goodnotes are both up to date. … sorry attachment mp4 not allowed in your feedback form.

  14. Enhanced scrolling

    I love the app and use it as my main PDF reader on iPad, but when it comes to the Mac version scrolling seems really buggy. Please could you enhance this?

  18. Mac App: Select Text without need to deselect last selected Text

    How about that?!
    There seems to be a bug you didn't fix with your last update for the Mac.
    When we select a text in a page, we have to click somewhere else to deselect it ON THE SAME PAGE IT WAS SELECTED and only then we can select Text in another page.
    Sorry for the Caps, it's for emphasis on the problem.

    Assuming most are working with lecture slides, pages are not really pages but short slides with some text on them.

  19. Images are not exported at perfect size from sharesheet.

    When importing an image as a new page from a sharesheet it appears with a huge white border. Only tried this from discord so far.

  20. Fix the bug that doesn't allow fixing zoom window return height

    When you import custom templates, the zoom window return height doesn't change even when you change its value to a similar value that the other default templates of the same size have. For example, I import A3 templates and even though I change the height to ~30, the zoom window always jumps way lower, a whole unit of its height below, instead of just a line like in the default goodnotes templates.

    Many users import custom made templates and it gets inefficient always having to place the window where it should be.
