  1. Latest update forced me to go back to Goodnotes 5

    The new Oct 2025 update makes it impossible to use Goodnotes as I used to. The grouping of tools doubles or triples my clicks, the default lasso break the writing flow and I can't draw straight lines without a ruler anymore.
    I am going back to Goodnotes 5. This update makes using the app very frustrating.

  2. handwriting disappears on sticky notes

    When writing on a sticky note sometimes the text I wrote, not typed, will disappear behind the sticky note. I have to collapse the sticky note and reopen it in order for the text to show on top of the note.

  3. make it work

    please just make it work. After the newest Update the App is unusable for any kind of serious work like School or Work. We dont need any fancy tools or quirky features. We just want a working Plattform to get things done. Maybe focus on that, before you start adding more buggy tools.

  4. SO MUCH APPLE PENCIL LATENCY

    GN is still de app with the most latency. Is really tiring to have to write so much and it being so slow because of its latency compared to other apps. I have all my notes and dont want to switch, please make it better.

    This app should be the best experience, but freenotes and notability are so much better to write in, and its sad that while this is happening, the only focus of improvement is AI.

  7. BUG PÁGINA

    I've been having problems with the app for a few days now. What happens is that every time I switch back to an open tab (for example, using two or more tabs at the same time), it keeps scrolling to the top of the page, and if I don't change it and switch tabs again, it keeps scrolling to previous pages. This error is very annoying because it completely disrupts my study rhythm.

  10. [HELP] My hyperlinks have stopped working!

    This is the first time my hyperlinks have ever frozen like this. I've been a long-time GoodNotes user, and when it stops working like this, it seriously impacts my productivity. You must change it back to how it was! Please... this is extremely urgent!

  12. Scrolling bug

    It's the most annoying bug. It's annoying when I try to scroll. Even if I want to write it, the scroll bug seems to interfere with me and make me unusable even if I want to write the GoodNote app. After the "Ask GoodNote AI" and (Recording) "Real-time Transcription" features are updated, the scroll is stuttering and moved to unwanted top or bottom pages. (I'm trying to move one page, but the bug is stumbling up quickly, almost to top/bottom pages.) Also, "Real-time Transcription," "Ask GoodNote AI," and page layout scrolling are stuttering as well.

  13. New scroll bug!

    The new scroll bug is really annoying me while taking notes in lessons I can’t even study cuz it scrolls to the wrong spot. Please I beg yall to resolve it. I have to force quit so it would stop.

  14. bug when editing shapes

    When you touch the created shape to edit it and move the vertices, one of the edges may accidentally stay in its place and separate from the vertex. I have not noticed any patterns for this bug to occur, so it is unlikely that this is some kind of intentionally added feature. There is a video showing the bug in the attachments.

  16. I can't move my shared notebooks to documents folder.

    When I create a sharing link for a notebook and share it with other users, other users cannot move the notebook to documents folder or another folder. Whenever they want to move it, show a note on the screen ''notebook is moved'', but this is not done. I request your urgent help on this issue. Or you should enable folder sharing as soon as possible.

  18. ideas / bug fixes

    • the duplicate function and the ability to move things through pages… you can move things through pages only with the lasso tool. So ,for example, when you duplicate something you can’t immediately move it in another page because isn’t selected with the lasso tool.
    • Typed text (function between handwriting and audio): Create a to-do list, a toggle list) (as with Notability).
    • Free text field: create squared/lined/dotted text field backgrounds (as with Notability)
    • Automatic dark mode, which, for example, automatically adjusts the font to the dark / light background (as with Notability)

    IPad Pro12.9 5 generation (ipad os 17.5.1)
    goodnotes5 (version 6.3.33)

    After setting the iPad dark mode, the keypad should appear as a black screen, but the white screen appears shiny.

  20. Goodnotes mac update bug

    After like 30 seconds scrolling with the trackpad turns into zoom. This makes scrolling basically unusable.
