1. Cannot write after 15 page in a note.

   While writing after 12-15 page in a note some alphabets are showing problems while writing. Like n,h,r,k cannot write sometimes. All this issue are arising only after 10 or 12th page. If u write in the beginning pages then there no problem arises.
   Please fix this issue. And let me know this bug is in the application or in my device.

3. Dropbox synchronisation eats up your HD memory: please fix this bug asap!

   After turning on Automatic synchronisation of my Goodnotes files to Dropbox, I discovered that this feature takes over an enormous amount of the HD memory, in fact if left it alone it will take over all your HD. I discovered this when I ran out of memory in my HD and discovered that the Dropbox cache was 500GB. It took me some time to figure out why I had lost this enormous amount of memory. After erasing the dropbox cache, it immediately started filling up again and in one day it was already 100GB large! At the moment it copies into the dropbox cache one copy of the entire file I am working on every single time I make a small change. As I have been working entire days on goodnotes, this very quickly fills my HD. I use other apps which backup automatically and DO NOT have this problem. There was already a complaint in early January about this same issue and you replied that to solve it one only needed to turn off the automatic synchronisation. This is not a solution obviously, it defeats the purpose of having the ability to back up automatically. Notability, your superb competitor, does not have this problem!

7. Bugs

   • When I want to Ctrl+f a document, I always need to do Ctrl+f and then click on the search window with the mouse, would be easier when I could Ctrl+f and then immediately start typing (like in all other applications)
   • Same thing happens when I change font size, when typing. I am always thrown out of the current window and have to open an other one.

9. Font menw's bug

   In my iPhone 8, a button to close the font menu is covered with a status icons on top of my iPhone, and it is incapable.
   I'm sorry just to use it with a very convenient app.

    I am using GoodNotes 5 for PDF annotation.
    I am experiencing some lag or dropped frames when scrolling. GoodNotes 4 had a smoother experience when using two fingers to zoom around.
    The dropped frames also do not happen when using the apple pencil to scroll.
    I would love to see this fixed, as it is really annoying.

12. I wish for some text typing improvement

    text fonts and sizes are not convenient to change, and after moving text box, the horizontal length of text box is fixed and this bothers so much.

    plus, there is a storage bug in automatic backup...while writing with backup on, many gigabites of storage disappears

    After creating a Text Box and adding text it is quite difficult to change the layout again. For example, the text color cannot be changed anymore unless using the lasso tool.

15. bug or error

    when I types texts with my bluetooth keyboard with turning on assitive touch function (in order to designate functions to my mouse) in IPAD PRO, keyboard appears in the screen while using a bluetooth keyboard. It happens only goodnote 5. any other apps does not. The issue is not with goodnote4. please fix this bug. thank you

16. stop turning on spellchecker after I have turned it off

    Actually, this appears to be a bug. In Mac OS, I specifically turn off spellchecker because I am tutoring kids remotely during school shutdowns and I am teaching them how to spell. Spellchecker needs to be off. I turned it off in the system AND locally in Goodnotes. Unfortunately, every time I open a new text box and the student starts typing again, spellchecker is on again. I have to turn it off for each new text box. Help!

    version 5.4.18 ipad air3 ipadOS13.4
    after updating,the legacy of apple pencil is much more obvious than the last version. u can easily feel the intermittence of the ink trace. please fix it as soon as possible since it's quite horrible for heavy users like me.

19. Undo bug on MacOs Catalina

    Hello, there is a bug in version for the MacOs: 10.15.4.

    I am not able to undo anything, unless I add a textbook in the notes. That is, if I start to draw, then neither command + Z, not undo option in "Edit" do anything. If I put a text block on a page, then undo becomes available.

20. Improve the highlighting tool

    As of now, I love the highlighting tool. I love how you can highlight in straight lines and how the highlighter automatically appears behind your writing or text, and doesn’t alter it’s colour.
    However, on all the pictures you post on your website etc, all the hand drawn diagrams are beautifully coloured in.
    THIS IS NOT REALISTIC.
    To get a uniform line, you cannot lift your pen off your screen, otherwise the highlighter’s colour « builds up » to become darker.
    This is very annoying because it makes coloring in simple shapes very difficult.
    If you go outside the lines, you have to start all over again, and when you are coloring large surfaces, it confuses the software and bugs.
    The line stops and « builds up » so you have to start again.
    I am aware that the shape tool automatically colours in whatever shape you draw, but it doesn’t cope well with organic shapes like the ones you show in drawings of organs, for example.
    Using a pen to colour in isn’t a great option either, because you lose the advantage of it being behind text, and being slightly transparent, which I think is a great feature.

    I know this may not seem like a big priority, but I use this tool every five minutes, and wish it were better every time.

    Small detail, but it would be a HUGE improvement :)
