Add shapes feature
The auto recognition shape feature is pretty cool, but I can't always draw the perfect square or triangle I'm looking for. An idea would be adding a feature to the auto recognition that allows you to drag/resize the shape once it has recognized your drawing.

Adaptive Dark Mode
Similar to Collanote, it'd be cool to be able to have a toggle for a smart dark mode where the paper colour would adapt to dark or light mode and the text over it would change accordingly (colours would lighten and white would become black). Many of us like printing notes, so white paper is essential but when in the dark, we prefer to reduce eye strain by using dark mode, and being able to adapt the paper colour would just ease this issue significantly.

Dynamic/ compact tool bar
I think there should be a smaller version of the tool bar that doesn’t take much space in screen
dynamic option will be a great addition because it allow us to customize the tool bar however we want for example making it smaller, auto hide feature (like the one in notes app in iPad).37 votes -

Lock pages
The app is amazing. I just got it today BUT I can think of a feature that would be very useful - locking individual pages so that you can’t write on it until you unlock it. I’m a very clumsy person and I always end up accidentally writing/drawing on things on accident even when I am done with them.
I see a request to lock all pages but I would also like the function to lock them individually so that I finish them I don’t put something on there that I don’t want.37 votes -
Color
Please add more color slots in the top menu bar. 3 is barely enough. We need more like 5 or 6 or as much as the user wants. Small details mean so much!

Streamlined pens
I would be really cool and easier to use if you had an optional feature of adding streamlined pens to smooth out your handwriting as I write on a glass screen with the apple pencil an my lines can turn out a bit wobbly or it really strains my hand when I try to use more control so my handwriting is neater.

Just as you can select the pen up option, you should be able to hide the nav bar while keeping the pen toolbar.

Make objects magnetic
Please add a Feature (and make it default) that objects like text boxes and images snap and align to each other (like in iWork) when moving and resizing. Thanks!

add the ability to create, import and edit plain text, asciidoc, markdown notebook pages
plain text pages would accept/display plain text input as their main content meaning that the text whole page accepts text starting at the upper left corner without the ability or need to move or position a textfield.
In addition it would be great if Asciidoc and/or Markdown would be formatted or highlighted.37 votes -
