  1. Hello Goodnotes team,

I'm an Essential plan user on Goodnotes 6 for Android and I really appreciate your app. However, I would like to suggest adding a "split screen" feature to the Android app.

This feature would allow users to open and use two or more documents (from the same Goodnotes app) simultaneously on the same screen, which would greatly improve productivity, especially when taking notes and comparing documents.

Given that this feature of opening documents in a new window already exists on iPadOS, it would be fair to extend it to all users of the app.

    Thank you in…

  3. Currently, PDF exports on Windows and Android are rasterized rather than vector-based. As a result, when zooming in, especially on small text, the content becomes pixelated and difficult to read (see attached image).

Vector-based PDF exports would preserve quality at any zoom level, eliminating pixelation and significantly improving readability and usability.

Since the iPad version of GoodNotes already supports high-quality vector PDF exports, it would be greatly appreciated to have the same functionality on Windows and Android. This feature would bring platform parity and substantially enhance the app’s value for users on these platforms.

  4. I love the writing experience on Goodnotes! However, as a Math student on Android, I’m disappointed that we lack the math converter and custom font support available on iOS. It also feels unfair that we don’t have a one-time payment option. Please bring feature parity to Android so all users can enjoy the same professional experience. Keep up the good work 🤩

  6. It now takes so much time for the app to start that I avoid using it. I tested it out and it took around 30 seconds to show my files or the last page opened. It does not seem a lot but during classes, presentations or explanations it can be very frustating

  8. Add the ability to permanently change textbox format settings
    Ex: select font size, color.
I am tired of having to open a new text and change it every time to a different font/color.

  9. It would be very helpful to rearrange the tabs of open notebooks via drag and drop.
Right now, I sometimes open several notes in the wrong order and have to close and reopen them to get them sorted properly. Flexible tab ordering would remove this extra step and make working much easier.

  10. Form uni I know that chapters are possible for IOS. Sadly I had to realize that they don't exist for the windows app which makes the notebooks less organized and you can't jump directly to the page. Hyperlinks within the notebooks would also be a nice feature.

  11. Please give windows users on-device transcripts. It's incredibly unfair and outrageous that only apple users can have unlimited on-device transcriptions while windows users have to pay extra for cloud transcriptions. This is so deeply upsetting that I'm considering switching to a different service.

  12. At the moment, the interface feels noticeably static because most UI elements lack animations. This includes interactions such as opening menus, triggering pop‑ups, switching tools, or navigating between sections. The absence of motion feedback makes the app feel less polished and less responsive especially compared to the iPad and macOS versions.

Introducing simple, consistent, and minimalistic animations across the UI would significantly improve the overall user experience. Even subtle transitions—such as smooth fades, slides, or scale effects—can make interactions feel more intuitive, modern, and cohesive. These animations don’t need to be complex; they just need to provide visual continuity and…

  15. Dear GoodNotes Team,

as a user coming from iOS and switching to Android, I noticed many differences that make it significantly harder to maintain a consistent workflow. The most serious of these is the loading time when switching between pages or opening a large document imported from GoodNotes iOS.
Switching from the web to a native app version of GoodNotes would of course be ideal, but doesn't seem to fit your current business strategy. However, the most logical alternative would be to implement an offline mode in which users can easily download documents locally — allowing instant switching between page…

  16. I just recently started using Goodnotes as a way to take notes while listening to live lectures. Due to the live nature of this, it requires a lot of shorthand note-taking. Specifically, I shorten the word "Number" to "#", which is a regular shorthand for many people. However, when I type "# " (specifically, # with a space after), the Text Document auto formats and creates a new line with a much larger font that has been made bold. This regularly breaks up my flow when note-taking. From my research, Goodnotes does not allow for Custom Formatting. But I also…

  18. The time keeper tool allows users to track how long they have been working within certain documents, and overall, the work hours during the week. Would be great for productivity and a confidence boost for those of us feeling like we aren't working enough.

  19. it could be very useful and efficient if we could make the page full screen. So we could close the window where we see all the pages and have a full-screen white page. I have attached an example
