Scanning Feature
The scanning function with a camera for Goodnotes Windows is an innovative idea that can enhance the productivity of the application. The feature allows users to capture documents using their for example Surface camera and import them directly into Goodnotes. This eliminates the need for additional scanning software, saving time and effort.
With this feature, users can quickly scan important documents such as receipts, contracts, and notes, and have them readily available in their Goodnotes app. The scanning process is simple and easy to use, with the camera automatically detecting the document's edges and adjusting the image quality to ensure that the document is captured clearly.
Once the document is scanned and imported into Goodnotes, users can easily edit and annotate the document as needed, making it a versatile tool for both personal and professional use. Additionally, the scanned documents can be organized into folders and easily accessed for future reference.
Overall, the scanning function with a camera for Goodnotes Windows is an excellent idea that can improve the application's functionality and user experience. It makes it easy for users to import documents directly into the app, save time and effort, and stay organized.
The scanning function from IOS was excellent so in my oppinion I could work with it.

It would be amazing if you could implement an real scanning feature so that people like me that still get non digital copies could properly scan them and edit them in Goodnotes.

There should be a feature where the user can open the camera directly from the app, and take a picture of a document or a whiteboard if they are in class.
Then there should be a proccess similar to CamScanner, where the app attempts to automatically detect the borders of the page or the whiteboard, and clarifies text. This should also be functional when importing photos, for tablets which don't have camera, or users who prefer to use their phones for pictures.

If we could upload files and be able to scan text so we can copy and paste (or edit) it that would be great.
